Nationwide deal. 99p. Phone is locked to Tesco. Phone is great for the car glove box for emergencies.
As to comments saying it's not nationwide, that is because on Tesco Mobile's site, if you go to purchase the phone on PAYG it directs you to Tesco Direct, so you are not purchasing it through Tesco Mobile.

Just bought 4. 99p each. They are still out there. I found mine in the separated ‘clearance’ section, not in the mobiles. They also had some Samsung models marked at 50p. None on shelf though.

I got the last one at the Tesco Extra in Corstorphine this evening, it even came with 20p credit. Obviously still worth checking, particularly at the Tescos with a dedicated cellphone alcove as they're less likely to just get tossed on the shelves and evaporate instantly.

People asking about unlocking...I thought the law had changed and mobile companies must unlock their phones now? I may be wrong though.
Edit.. from MSE site....
"Networks can no longer charge you for this if you're out of contract, though the rules don't apply if you're still in contract or on pay-as-you-go."
So as PAYG Tesco Will unlock for free after 1 year our before then for £10.

Yes, I recall a free to unlock Phone thing via designated Mobile Network's now, etc ...
The irony is, this took toooooo LONG to flourish!.
And it being an EU thing (is what has basically now currently changed that Law for us here ... )
It's anyone's guess as to how many more 5 minutes that same Law will then now serve us!, when the inevitable Brexit thing eventually kick's in to the fore?. :-(

Found this in two stores today, both had official POS and price tags on the shelf for these phones. Ebay item 221728153530 for unlocking, I had codes back in under ten minutes!

I don't know tbh, but I would have thought so considering the price/quality of the handset.

Are people stupid? The op clearly stated in store so why are you checking the price online on the website.
I was in tesco yesterday and they were indeed 99p. Heat from me.
