I used the grey to repair the dishwasher wire racks, where the plastic had worn, and rust appearing. Worked a treat, and has lasted high temperature washes and hundred of cycles. Brilliant stuff, if you have a use for it

I bought a pack in November 2013 and put it in the fridge (3 degrees C according to Samsung) as soon as I got it. Used some a few months ago and it seemed fine, no different to how it performed a few years ago. Only thing is that I have 5 sachets left, I find it hard to find many uses for it. One or two uses yeah but two packs would be a big waste for me.
I used a sachet to make feet for a couple of things like a speaker and wrapped it around a plug at the end of a cable that was fraying.

Just mended my son's dinosaur snapper with this after he used it as a weapon and snapped its lower jaw off!!! Worked a treat

Great deal, but guys beware, this stuff has a shelf life of about a year. If you keep it in the fridge, it lasts longer, but don't buy a ton of it and expect it to keep. I'd probably only buy 2 if you have something big you want to fix/make and need to use a good few of the packs in one go.

Good price, thanks for sharing.
The only thing that puts me off Sugru is that it has a reasonably short shelf life so can't be kept in case you think of something to do with it. :disappointed:

My laptop charging cable stared to fray (MacBook). Used this on it and prolonged its life. £10 investment vs £40 replacement.
(The laptop is also dying so this is good enough until it actually dies). Would recommend

Yes I managed to do mold it on my first go, it takes a bit of time before it dries and having experience in playing with play do as a child
To be honest, I'm not sure.Maybe depends on the material that your sticking it onto. It feels like rubber when it dries. You should leave it in a dry place, the number of hours depends on how thick you made it.
Attached some images of how I did mine, pretty basic but it works,

Do you happen to post on the dpreview forum? That grip looks very similar to one I remember seeing a while ago.

I haven't posted or come across the dpreview forum before but the website looks interesting.

Well someone else has had a very similar idea then  Yeah, the M43 forum is really useful, it's worth signing up.

Did you make the final grip with your fish attempt? I'm wondering what this stuff is like when it comes to removing it? I want to make a grip from my Pany GX80, but something I can remove when I come to sell it
