After my third set of Beats by Dre (in-ears) within 16months died and Apple didn't want to know as outside of the 12 months period. (Despite the latest replacement ones technically only being 4 months old) I was in the market for some more headphones at a more disposable price point. I found these Sony ones in HMV reduced from £29.99 down to £19.99 which get a decent review at bestbuy.com/sit…304 They're much lighter than the Beats but a decent quality sound so far. In store and online.

I would buy the MDR-XB50AP instead - same price but they have a larger driver (12mm as opposed to 9mm).

Just get JVC Gumy for about £5. Best ones I've ever used

The more people that realise Beats are rubbish, the better. :relaxed:

Schoolboy error there blood. Buy new Beats from Apple, replace them with your faulty ones, return with the receipt

Haha good plan but they go by the serial number on them and have it on file what ones were sent to me in May.

Try it with Amazon they accept anything. I've sent back a pentium 4 when I've bought a i5

What happens when someone buys your broken headphones as a 'refurbished' deal expecting them to be working? People like you annoy me. I bet you go into clothes shops with ripped trackies 'blood' only to swap them on the rail and walk out with a new pair. Eurgh.

That is incorrect. They get sent straight back to the manufacturer with a green sticker on them. Apple never put open boxed goods back for sale. How do I know this? I used to have a gig there.
