So I received the vernon sofa today and it looks pretty smart. I ordered the ash colour as that was the only one on offer at the time, it's more of a light grey, nice though.
assembly was easy, just screw the feet in and push the back into place. Mine was delivered by ArrowXL courier and they were great. They gave a two hour slot right away, then on the day you can track it on their site and see exactly where they are, how many deliveries are before you and an estimate arrival time. They called 30 minutes before just to be sure. Two guys carried it to my flat in no time.
The sofa itself is surprisingly quite firm, hopefully that means it'll keep its shape. You will sink into it slightly over a longer period but it seems to spring back nicely. It comes with two very plump cushions and the arms seem reasonably padded too.
All in all good value, even if out the box it does smell like hamster food / warehouse :grin:

Bear in mind that if you get drunk and have the obligatory ruck with your mate, it's likely the legs will fold underneath and you'll risk losing your deposit.

It was me who posted the deal last time and we ordered the Ramona in grey for our dining room! :wink: We use it almost every day and we couldn't be happier! It's not really big enough to lie down on but for 2 people sitting it's just fine really. It was pretty easy to put together and seems pretty robust to me anyway. I'm almost 190lbs and my wife about 145 and we've had the dog on too and she's about 80lbs and no sign of the legs crumbling beneath us! For the money I'd highly recommend it.

They are not bad sofas. Actually, most of the George sofas are exceptionally good quality for the money. Possibly even unbeatable.
They are not however hard-wearing or resilient to even low level punishment.
I've found the fabric ones to be much better in the regard than the fake leather.
If you are looking for a passably good looking sofa that is comfortable to use for short periods of time, this is a very good deal.
