I don't want to be 'that' guy, but the S7 was unlocked, on sale in Tesco, around February for around 400 quid, including a premium Sammy smart watch, Sammy 360 degree camera, or Sammy wireless ear buds - you could choose which one you wanted. Seeing as these items were worth over 200 squid a piece, it was a great deal. I know the deal isn't on anymore (time machines excluded) but I'd be dammed if I'd pay £450 for one now. I'm not voting cold, but £350-379 would be where I'd call hot on this :muscle:

It's a great deal of you ask me. I had this and the s8. The s8s camera is much better and it comes with 64gb compare to 32gb. Other than that and thats using both lots. I didn't notice a difference. Both incredible phones.
What do you call 'not much more'? Serious question, I've been keeping my eye out for the price coming down on the S7 since the S8 was released as I'm not fussed about having the latest bang up to date model if the previous one is £150 cheaper. What's the cheapest you've seen the S8 for, SIM free UK version?

The value of this deal is subjective. I know it's a year old but not everyone wants or needs the latest specs in a smartphone. Also, this is good for people who don't a current budget or mid-range phone as this would be more powerful than most of them. This is still a better for people who don't want to buy a phone for over £500. I personally think it's a good deal. I personally won't be getting it because I'm more interested in getting an XZ premium.

if your looking at s7 just get a refurbished one off ebay they come with 12 months warranty, a/b condition will be basically new
I never said or think for one second that this is not relevant, its still probs one of the best 5 smartphones you can buy today but just like anything after first year
