Instead of giving all the money to Amazon, choose a charity from the list and let them to have 5% of the money you would spent on your shopping anyway.

How about amazon give the money they make in tax avoidance to charity?

fully agree but since thats never gonna happen might as well dip in to their pockets if you need something anyway.

As should HUKD seeing as they're tax dodgers too.
On that note, be sure to click through your charity's link after clicking through any "Get" deal links on HUKD otherwise HUKD pockets the money and not your charity.

What i would love to find out is how much do they give? And under exactly what criteria? I guess it has to be "Sold by" Amazon directly? If cashback fails we can log a call with TCB or Quidco but in this case- are a lot of the referrals not being honoured? Any company acitively seeking to pay absolute, embarrassingly, low tax in a country they make a fortune in (and treat employees so badly to boot) are not to be trusted.

Shame they haven't brought over the smile.amazon.com/ idea over from the US

Also how much of this money is a tax "rebate" like gift aid - just saying sure I like your charity why not take the money from schools and hospitals.

Why can amazon not just credit me 5% to give to the charities I wish to support?
or just discount everything I buy by 5%, charity begins at home

Thanks from me too! I have never seen this before. Well done Op for highlighting this as there must be lots of us who did not know about this and who would be happy to help others.

Simply choose the charity of your choice, use their link to Amazon and bookmark the page as Amazon. Anytime you'll go to Amazon, using the bookmark, the charity will get the 5% of your spending. Simples :innocent:
