to be honest they are quite fast. Class 10 is fast itself though the next fastest ones are clad U1 which if I'm not mistaken is only one which is more faster then class 10. Had one since last year bought from Argos and I'm pretty happy with the speed.. heat for great find... going to order one..

class 10 and u1 are the same minimum of 10MB/s write but using different bus they dont say anything more abut the performance - in this case its about 10MB/s (one amazon review seems higher oddly) but other cards will be faster there are also U3 cards which are 'faster' again but a U1 card could in theory be faster than a U3 card its the actual speeds that matter rather than the labels then there are Vx and Ax cards...

Yes you are right, couldn't agree less.. all I'm saying they are pretty much fast and great at the price found.. but then there are the extreme 32gb class U3 V30 going for £15.56 free delivery.. on another website

I picked up a Toshiba Exceria M302 32GB for £10.89 this week and being a U3 card it writes at a minimum of 30MBs which works well for its intended purpose: amazon.co.uk/dp/…L0/ I wouldn't save 80p on a card that might write at a third of that speed.

Really? People always do this. I'm of the opinion that If the SAME item can not be found cheaper then that's a good deal if you want THAT item. If not, then search elsewhere for the item you DO want to purchase then don't buy it because it was more expensive than a different item altogether??? Brilliant!

yes really, its quite simple. as i already said - if you want this right now its ok. if you dont need it right now then wait for better cards to come down to this price or as agharta points out a better card for slightly more

Oh how i long for the days of cheap memory to return. I bought 5x 64Gb Sandisk ultra cards from argos at £9.99 each over a year ago.
Looking back i wish i'd have stocked up on them to sell today.
