Picture quality and screen size and shape are subjective and also in the mind of the viewer. I can tell the difference between differing pictures, i.e. SD, HD ready, HD, Full HD 4K etc. but others who think I am mad don't seem able to or are just happy with a picture, so all these comments are just personal.

If people are considering this TV, then QLED or OLED is not a viable alternative. The price points are just too different.

I was looking at some QLED and OLED tvs the other day, I was quiet impressed with the QLED and how well it was performing against the OLED. Unfortunately the shop was running 2 different video streams. But if anyone was thinking of getting an OLED you should at least look at QLED as a viable consideration.

Bought this last week £715 from amazon. Hd channels and 4k are great. But sd channels are rubbish. Picture is shocking. Dont really notice the curve. Had sony android before this but developed a fault after 8 weeks and had to go back. The sony was fantastic compared to this.

Same on every 4K TV as the pixels are being stretched. For SD go 1080P which is the issue right now as we have a LOT more SD content still than 4K

only reason its reduced is because curved is no longer manufactured, If your looking to invest in TV, get the OLED, or QLED tvs. Picture quality in these are immense

Do you have a source on that? This is a brand new model that's only been released in the last month or so, it would be pretty bizzare for Samsung to do that if they were just using up existing stocks.
