I have been offered a Samsung S8 from sky for £26.50 with 10GB of data. This includes unlimited minutes & texts as I am a sky customer. Also can use the inclusive data, minutes & texts in 38 countries. Plus sky also roll over any unused data, so should always have plenty of data to hand. This works out at £792 over the 30 month contract, but you can change after 24 months. I think that's a fairly good deal for the s8 + 10GB of data.

Wow not another over the phone exclusive deal.. So you have to be a sky customer spending £150 a month for every package to get this.. Oh and noticed over 30 months

I would not mind signing a 30 month contract if it worked out better for me, my iphone 6S contract just ended and EE offered me such a good deal on minutes/text.data that i am keeping the phone for another year as the phone is in perfect condition

i thought 30 month contracts were illegal due to EU law? i thought it was capped at 24 months

Could be a different offer - but I have a similar offer on MySky offers page but it's actually just a single block of 10GB data added to your 'piggybank' when you order an s8 - the monthly data you get is dependant on the package you choose - the cheapest coming with 500mb data. So worth double checking this if your order over phone/chat to ensure you get the monthly data you're expecting.

I was sent this offer aswell. Not really a very good deal. Just like all of sky mobiles other offerings. Much better deals to be had elsewhere.

Isnt this 10gb of data in a bank, not each month??

I think you are right. Still not bad for calls and texts.

You have to be a sky customer to get the free minutes & texts. My sky package costs £42p/m for phone, tv & broadband. This is with the new sky q box as well. So add £26.50 to £42 for my total package £68.50 for tv, broadband, phone & mobile phone. I'm quite happy with that.

I think you should check its per month and not a roll over amount to be used within 3 years.

The 10gb is a 1 off and not monthly

Sky mobile contracts are weird
If you choose the swap 12 or swap 24, any money you have given is wasted as you don't keep the phone, you give it back to sky for a phone that you want

Possible deductions for the value of your handset include:
50% if the handset works but some buttons are missing or broken
50% if the phone has some obvious damage (e.g. cracks in the casing)
50% if the phone is water damaged but still fully functional
75% if the main menu/power button is faulty
75% if the handset has a software/hardware fault
75% if the screen is damaged
75% if there is heavy damage to the device

No good if buying an iPhone then. The majority I see have a big crack down their screens!

I rather buy it for 520 new...doesn't worth extra 14£month only for 10 gb data
Cold - very misleading offer from them.. the 10gb is a one off amount 'in the bank' as it were and you actually get 300mb data pm which is practically nothing! ...Way better deals around!

Newsflash! Lots of phone deals are now going to 30 months.. this is to lower the monthly repayments towards the handset.. Tesco mobile and others are also doing this..

Did you sign up thinking it was 10GB per month when in reality its like 300MB? :joy:
