The Samsung Evo and Evo+ cards are noticibly quicker than the Toshiba but I have had two die on me, the only two sd cards I have ever had die. I have used both as well as SanDisk cards for Raspberry Pi, mobile phones, and Surface.

I had a 32GB sandisk fail on me in May (refunded as 13 months old) and the 16GB sandisk replacement i bought in July just failed too. No manufacturer is totally reliable and sometimes probability just hates your guts - i'm still trying a Samsung this time though - thanks OP!

Any good card readers (USB) for these cards? Several only read upto 32gb.

Damnit, bought a SanDisk 64gb off amazon for £19.99 just yesterday as I needed one for sports cam. Not sure what would be more reliable. I had a £5 promo on amazon though so it made it £15.

How are these cards for data corruption compared to sandisk? have been stung in past, losing all my data on a corrupted card
Also wasn't it samsung that had a few fakes being sold on amazon?
would love to get this deal but scared of being burnt!

pffft if you dont mind losing around 2gb! Sandisk and Samsung give 59.4 to 59.6gb Toshiba exshitia give 57.6GB thats 2gb less space. Not acceptable! And I bought it from Aamzon so it wasnt a dodgy ebay seller or anything.
Heat for a great card at a great price. Plus try MMNEWBIE for a possible extra 5% off

Well I'll be damned, I didn't know about that whole 2gb less thing... The Toshiba I have in my surface is 57.7gb... interesting to say the least

Yep never had a sandisk or samsung less than 59gb, hence the reason I avoid them!

The Samsung evo in my phone is 58.5 :disappointed: guess that's just my luck (it is a legit card)

Huh, I wonder if toshiba are using some of the capacity for overprovisioning. Means when one cell fails others from that missing 2GB will kick in to replce them. That's just a guess though coming from SSD worlds where overprovisioning is common and a 512GB SSD may present as 450GB.

I have one of those in my Panasonic GX80 camera and so far it's been great. But I'm careful to back it up on a regular basis. I have a 128gb version of the Evo+ in my phone and I know if I had to choose one for reliability, it would be the Samsung.
