Wide toaster slots
The Windsor 22831 lets you toast more substantial types of bread like bagels, crumpets, teacakes and thicker slices. This makes it great for starting out the day or serving up toasted treats for guests.
More functions You can use the Windsor 22831 Toaster to defrost frozen bread straight from the freezer, which is ideal if you're in a hurry.
If you've forgotten about your toast, you can quickly and easily reheat it without having to complete a full toasting cycle. There's also a cancel function if your toast is burning or if you feel it's had enough time.
Control your toaster Each toasting carriage has its own control set, so you can toast two slices for yourself or use all four slots for larger portions. You can also give everyone their toast in the way they like it, whether it's dark or light.
Use the illuminated controls to check on how much your bread is being toasted to prevent burning and wastage.

I have this toaster. It's quite slow! Which usually means dry toast. Be warned!

Quoted for truth. I have this and it's truly awful. Only had it to speed up breakfast with the family. If anything it's slowed it down and made it worse. For what it's worth the matching kettle is also the loudest thing on the planet.

Just got a 4 slice toaster from Asda (George branded), very similar design where certain colours were on offer for £15, others were £16.25. In store offer only so no link, apologies. Don't know how much better a Russell Hobbs might be, but there's a 2 year warranty on it.

Those people who received theirs and have tried it out - would you still recommend it to others? Quite a few people online seem to be saying:
- Normal sliced bread doesn't fit in it height wise - it only toasts part of the bread and leaves about 25% untoasted. - One side of the bread barely toasts and you get really uneven toasting. - Sets fire to kitchen and house. Product is dangerous and should be recalled lol.
Has anyone found any issues with theirs? Also, can some confirm does this have a high-lift eject feature for getting the toast out? Doesn't say in the description - in some photos online both levers seem to be resting in a lower position making me think it must have? It's also a pretty basic feature to have and given the RRP I would expect it to have it(?)
Also, does the red one look metallic and exactly the same as the one in the photos or does it look cheap and non-metallic in real life? I've seen photos of it looking like both so am a bit confused.

Paints must be very thin as its chipped out of the box. Not toasted yet so might end up going back if it turn out unfit for purpose.

Purchased the cream set as our red set apparently where becoming problematic all of a sudden ! At £19 each worth it to change I was told. Toaster appears to be good, but kettle is a bit clunky so lets see if it lasts.

Not a bad price, item looks good. However as someone above mentioned, height wise for the bread is not good. I find it small.
The kettle is so far so good.

We got this last month and I put a crumpet in it, it got stuck when it popped up and bent the metal inside! Took it back and got a cheaper one that was much better quality. Probably shouldn't put crumpets in them maybe but have done with other toasters
