Bought some last week and they do seem to break quite easily especially round the rims.
Also after a 50 mile round trip on Friday, ring first to make sure the stores have them, I did a click and collect for a store showing lots in stock, and when i turned up to collect they only had 4 with lids and a lot of them were broken. They then sent me to another store showing loads in stock, but they had none, and they then sent me to a 3rd and final store to finally get them

IMHO Homebase have certainly gone downhill since the takeover by Bunnings. My local store in Hatfield always looks as if a hurricane has gone through it. A hell of a lot of the larger items etc these type of boxes are not priced so it's impossible to go in and compare prices. After a few visits and lots of teeth gnashing, I've given up and go to the other sheds now. Does anyone else find the same?

Their stock control is abysmal/shambolic.
They advertised some 3 for 2 boxes that were perfect for storing some kit that I have. I checked the local store stock online and their system was showing 5 in stock at each of my closest stores. So I reserved some and off I went.
1st store, stock system shows 5 were booked in in May - they cant find them. They apologise, ring 2nd store to check they have them. yes according to their 'system' they do... so off I go.
2nd store. 5 were booked in in May - they cant find them....
Staff apologetic and offered me a 3 for 2 on any box in store which was appreciated but not really any good to me.
Really, in this day and age they should be able to manage their stock standing on their heads. The way they are operating does'nt inspire much confidence about the longevity...

Do these stack? I presume not if they have wheels.
Bought 4 of these the other day, looking for more but out of stock near me now, sturdy & a bargain.

Their stock control is almost as bad as B&Q. Lost out on 30 rolls of wallpaper and they didn't even bother letting me know.

Was in homesbase Sat looking for boxes, about the only thing I would put in these are fluffy toys. Also don't stack them as the pressure on the centre will just crack the lid.

This one will definitely have to be stacked at the top of the other better storage boxes we have!

I've brought loads of these, not as sturdy as "really useful" but you wouldn't expect them to be. Not had any break but did have to chose carefully in store....

Always handy these, good price. Just won't be too heavy-handed with it! Good for the loft.
