I see the 64 litre ones on here 2 for £20 collection only quite a lot but to be honest it's rare that I have 64 litres of stuff that all needs to go into one box, and if I do then they get very heavy so I find the smaller ones much better. I'm also too busy to collect stuff from a store in working hours so it's better to have things delivered to work.
These are tough as hell and can hold quite a lot of weight even when stacked. 1000x better than cardboard as we found out a few years ago when the basement flooded. They also have a lot of stuff on clearance if you're into crafts or baking.
I do actually have one of them from when they were cheap from halfords. They are OK but they feel a lot weaker than I think these ones will, as well as obviously not being water resistant. Still a decent deal for sure though.

These are likely not the same as the ones you're thinking of. May still be decent but not super solid.
I agree having a look at that carefully. Reviews also mention that they aren't as strong.

These are definitely a budget version of the more common 35L size, which is indeed, bulletproof.
There's no way these could be of the same build quality for that money.

These are not the super strong Really Useful boxes that have reinforced sides. These are their budget storage boxes that, tbh, are not a lot different from all the other cheapo plastic storage boxes on the market.

These definitely aren't as strong as the standard Really Useful Boxes, but they are still quite a bit better than the cheap Wilkos, Lidl, etc. plastic boxes. I bought quite a lot of these for £25 for 4, so £20 for 4 is a great deal.
For me these budget ones are actually better than the standard ones as they are just the right height to fit on the racking in our garage, whereas the standard ones are slightly too tall.

Is there a way to differentiate between the sturdy and now apparently not so good really useful boxes.
I use them a lot and they are very good, wasn't aware they make cheapy ones too.
