Just grabbed 2 pairs. Worth noting these are the new wayfarer. A slightly nicer shape in my opinion.

Not polarised, in case anyone was wondering.

I don't know why anyone would buy unpolarised sunglasses?

Because of saving the polar bears innit! Quidco = 10%.

I don't know why ppl make silly comments.

Sorry, I didn't think it was a silly comment. I understand that unpolarised lens don't fully block 100% of UV. To me, that makes them as much use as a chocolate teapot

I dunno, pretty sure my non-polarised glasses claim to block out 100% of UV rays. I have one pair of polarised glasses, but their effect on LCD displays is annoying, making it difficult to read in-car displays and such.
My non-polarised glasses still really help me in bright light and I often wear them whilst driving even just on bright cloudy days. I thought the only difference with polarised lenses was the glare reduction?

Polarisation has nothing to do with UV blocking. Polaristion only lets light pass through at certain angles.

Ah, fair play, wasn't sure and another poster had a point, now they mention it I can see my eyes more than the view in front

Wish I didn't get the polarised option on my raybans.... the polarised coating is on the inside of the lens and it reflects heavily, so I get a nice view of my eyes at all times!!

Damn, showed in stock but by the time I'd logged in, OOS again. Boo.
Edit... managed to get a pair. Looks like Asos will hold a pair in your basket for an hour, so probably coming in and out when people don't complete.

The pic in the description is the pair I got for £56 Or do you mean it's also wrong on ASOS?

Mine arrived this morning and they were the 55mm versions not the 52 that I was expecting. Glad about that as the 52 would have been too small for me. Either way they are going back. The lenses really don't suit me. :nerd:

Alternatively... let me buy them off you! I wanted some of these anyway, and this was a great price. I keep checking the site in case some come back into stock (I guess yours will eventually, but it's being in the right place at the right time lol)

Strange I don't have that issue at all. Recently got some RayBan 4181's (similar to these) and despite being polarised they are crystal clear. Haven't had polarised for years, but really liking these as they cut out significant glare when driving or near water/windows/reflections.
Perhaps it's the slightly different design or yh he way they sit on me.
one thing I did check within the return period is wether they interfered with any of my displays. Fortunately not
