As you dig into the dark secrets of Talos I and your own past, you must survive using the tools found on the station, your wits, weapons, and mind-bending abilities to defeat the Typhon alien threat. The fate of the Talos I and everyone aboard is in your hands.

Really thought I'd like this, but I'm massively underwhelmed. Only a few hours in but it's very slow, dull and repetitive, also found the same with dishonoured 2.

Agree about Dishonored - very boring. Prey is awesome though and should not be compared. It's so much better!

This was my experience too. Just didn't love anything about it. The game has some genius touches, but the environment, atmosphere, weapons, and combat were all boring to me. So much work and talent went into the title and it just felt flat. Real shame for me, I love a good campaign.

Me too. I hated it but struggled to pinpoint why exactly so traded it. I paid £30 and couldn't get rid of it quick enough. Bioshock in space... Lol. I know that it's the Daily Star but the publisher quoted it all over official marketing. If you're comparing it to arguably the most atmospheric game series ever, you'd better live up to the hype or get ready for a big fall!
I'm also never buying a Bethesda game at or close to full price again. Unless it's another Fallout.

This was posted 7hrs ago, the 10% off was a glitch on the whole site which has clearly been fixed, so the discount won't be applying. Hence the title saying "(possible...)" because it might not have applied to everyone and clearly it was a webpage glitch that TGC have since rectified. So sorry if anyone has missed out on the additional discount, but had to post something as all the comments complaining about the lower price got to me  thought it would be apparent

no. never seen them price match game collection and why not buy from them as they are miles better than amazon i would rather give them my money and always get games next day something i cant say about amazon even with prime.
never understood why people will only use amazon, of late they are more often and not more expensive for games and deliveries are getting worse

But if the demo is a slice off the full game, I'm not seeing how it'll change much (new weapons etc?).
I likes the ideas of the mimics. But the first person melee combat felt off for me. And I just decided against it. Maybe at sub £10 I'll grab it

I've been working my way through the game for a few hours every weekend and I'm enjoying it. The damn nightmares scare me every time.
olivermills6 to LilHammerette
22 Aug 17#25
The nightmares scare me, and I'm yet to encounter one. The timer reaches 0 and it just says mission completed?
LilHammerette to olivermills6
22 Aug 17#31
I first encountered one after loading my game after a week away. Tried to hide in various bushes to no avail. Ended up running out of an airlock :fearful: :raised_hand: The ones I've encountered since then I hide in rooms and lock the doors.
To complete the nightmare missions you just kill it or hide for 3 minutes.
olivermills6 to LilHammerette
22 Aug 17#35
Oh I see! I thought when the timer ends the nightmare appears. Bushes are pretty badly implemented. They can see through them.
LilHammerette to olivermills6
22 Aug 17#47
The nightmare spotted you to start the timer, sometimes you can hear them yet the timer doesn't start but if that happens you're at an advantage as you can find a hiding spot (they're big so small rooms like the security booths and maintenance hatches are great) so you can then grab their attention then head for your spot.
I fooled one for a minute in a bush but then they had the last laugh. :fearful:

I assume if a game isn't selling well and is overstocked then retailers will try and get rid of stock at cheaper prices like this. Whereas if a game is selling well (such as GTA V, Overwatch etc.) there's no need for retailers to drop prices.
