in my life i have had food cooked in aluminium pressure cooker atleast for 22 years and iam alive and thats ok. This world eats food cooked on non-stick surfaces and plastics and they dont care about that.
You are doing that on an Aluminium. You should not be worrying too much and actually you must be feeling safe.

Food poisoning by metals is real. Earlier people used used to think lead pipes were safe as well for drinking water .I will never cook anything in Teflon or non microwave safe plastic because of this reason. Aluminium utensils are protected by invisible and strong aluminium oxide coating which forms on exposure to air . But strong acids and alkalies can dissolve this coating and then aluminium can leach in food . I also avoid aluminium based deodorants for this reason.

don't worry about the aluminium, its stainless steel
12lb high pressure is poor, most quality pressure cookers when at high pressure are set for 15 or 16lb so the cooking time would need to be adjusted with this cooker

I would give hot for the price, but this cooker does not have a whistle styled pressure regulator, which itself acts as a timer.
sad :disappointed:

I think these will be obsolute one day, with Instant Pot "safe" pressure cookers available.
