I fitted a toilet similar to this as a replacement for our ground floor cloaks. Ever since when anybody flushes it or uses the tap in the kitchen I get an air bang in the pipes under the floorboards....any ideas, do I need an air release valve in the cloaks wc pipework?

Look up a "water hammer arrestor"

Thanks Amin228 for your tip, I see on the Screwfix website a customer has left a comment about it being fixed with a water hammer arrestor and he had the exact same problem with a new toilet as well. Time to get down Screwfix and finally get some peace and quiet! :raised_hand:

Got one of these, the tank is really thin and it sweats A LOT (condensation), always created a puddle of water on the floor. Fixed this by insulating the inside with two layers of a thin gym/sleeping mat from Tesco glued down with silicone.

I'll never fit one of these smaller loos again-to put it politely you need the loo brush :disappointed: after every use!

These loos are tiny. Especially if you were born with dangly bits.

Great deal for those who are not flush with money...
Good toilet. Had one for about 3 years and it works well. Only thing gone wrong is the water inlet valve which doesn't close properly and lets some water into over flow sometimes. Could be due to timescale. Flushes well looks ok for price and more than anything it flushes water all around so it all gets flushed away.

Would have been cheaper and easier for me to buy this the other day. Four flush valves later I finally got one that fit in my cistern and allowed me to put the lid on flat. First had a bulky button and 3mm too tall, 2nd one the button was better but the valve was bigger that the first. Third wasn't one that would fit to a standard base, would have fit but didn't want to undo cistern from toilet and try getting it to seal again. Fourth one...success. At least this cistern is more than 300mm tall so probably any valve will fit.

Poo sticks to this toilet like glue. Bought one as a temporary one a while ago.

I have this toilet. Bought it a couple of months back. It is slightly, ever so slightly smaller than standard size. You don't really notice. Looks better in a downstairs washroom. Big poos still flush.
