Love my hue system I have the starter kit and three strip lights built into ceiling and a lamp and oh my this is the best lighting system I have used, and playing no man's sky while using a camera app to project what lighting is on the tele, to the lights is just mesmerising,

You can get the lights to change dynamically depending on what's on the telly? How so

I'd like to know that too. Looking at led strips for behind the telly that adapt to the screen colouring but they're muchos £££'s

M8, you should use screenbloom instead, then you don't have to use your phone like that, check it out it's amazing and has a ton of options and it's free.

Whats the benefit of these?
I get that you can dim using a smart phone. Change colours if you spend more money, but what else? Got to be the worst gimmick ever if thats all.

Bump, I too would like to know which price comparison tool was used for that. Thank you in advance
These are the best lights to purchase - it's true, the colour ones are better IMO - but I have never had an issue. My tiny bare on the hue system is if the power fails all the lights come on - but set a timer...

will this hub work with wemo devices so that you can create activities ?

Wont work with Wemo stuff.
This is only an OK deal if you dont own a bridge, as the bulbs can be had for under £15.00 each and these bulbs are good for putting in places you're not bother about colour temp eg hallways and and main lights for instance I have these in the the bedroom main lights and halls, i use ambience in the living rooms etc..

They really shouldn't call this package "Hue", because the lights are only white, so they are not proper "Hue" lights.
But given that the bridge usually costs 50 pounds (outrageous, hm?), it seems to be a good package deal.

Maybe it has 1 million different shades of white.

Good price and heated. If it's just a simple on/off/dim setup you're after then this is ideal. However, if you're going to start a serious Hue setup you're going to end up spending a lot more, you'd be better investing in a Colour Starter Kit, even at full price.

Anyone that uses the Hue bulbs do you get a bayonet adapter with them as it doesn't mention in the write up as only bayonet connections in our lights picked up a TP-link bulb yesterday which comes with a bayonet adapter but if these come with adaptors I'll get them as works out cheaper to add more bulbs as the TP link ones are £25 eac
