Cold. I used to work at Currys and the "JVC" Tv's and soundbars are just re-branded Logik ones. JVC licenses their brand to currys. Do NOT but them if you want the cheapest, get a Logik.

The 720p tn tv proably cost them 30 quid to manufacture.

Is JVC 32" TV compatible with the Soundbar?

Normal HD channels through Virgin and Sky are actually only 720p, so equivalent TVs are still relevant until those are upgraded. Only BluRays and digital movies/games consoles are genuine 1080p.

Just collected. They put it through fine I've they'd found it online, took about 3 minutes. I always recommend going towards end of the day when their discretion seems to increase.

Just picked mine up from the Beckton branch...
Mentioned the code to them but
Took over an hour to sort out as it wasn't recognized on their systems and with the 100 pounds discount off the soundbar they would end up paying me 3p! :face_with_monocle:

They eventually had to call store support to get them to put it through as a promotional discount.

Its obvious now that head office forgot to remove the discount code when they dropped the price on the web site...

Advice to anyone taking advantage of thos would be to make sure you have the web page available for them to see as proof and get them to call store support if they aren't cooperating.

You can choose any other TV if you like. The point is that you get soundbar for free if you buy a TV

The code doesn't work as its an error on Currys' part (they have just confirmed this via chat) this particular soundbar is not included within the deal, due to being under £100. The alternatives they suggested are £200+ :poop:

Is the £99 TV people are going for the LOGIK L20HE15 20" LED TV (720p) for £99.99? If so, wouldn't the LOGIK L22FE14 22" LED TV (1080p) for £109.99 make much more sense? A tenner more to get a 1080p 22" over the 720p 20", plus the 22" has 2 HDMI sockets rather than 1 HDMI socket on the 20".
