As a dad to be I've been keeping an eye on the essentials, this looks to be a good deal to my inexperienced eyes.

Edit... please note Size 0 for the tiny totts out there

Like others have said, don't go and buy loads of these as chances are your baby will grow very quickly and you don't want to be left with loads of nappies that are too small.
Our daughter is 14 weeks and already in size 3

Another thing to be aware of - when buying such large quantities of nappies, is that new born babies grow VERY quickly; if your baby isnt right at the bottom end of the size range weight, you may find you still have loads left when they outgrow them.
My daughter (4-6 weeks early depending on which delivery date estimate you take), was just above the limit of size zero at birth, but was 4.5KG (nearly 10lb) by week 6.

I used to work on the basis of anything below 10p per nappy is a decent deal. These fall in that bracket. Heat

As a dad to be also these are only for babies born before their due date, prematurely. If all goes to plan you will need the 1 and 2. Read up on nappies, the rating on pampers relates to how absorbant they are after number 3. So if the little one is leaking time to move up.
Also of note pampers donate these to hospitals as your little one will be in intensive care and they provide the nappies.
Had our baby 13 weeks early in March (doing superbly well now). Very good nappies. But would like to draw attention to Asda branded nappies who were the only supermarket I found making this size of nappy. The Asda ones were great and well priced too.

Hey, just be careful if you are buying these, as they're for really wee babies (often premature ones) with a weight guidance of 2-5 lbs. A lot of babies would be already past this size recommendation before even being born.
