What does that mean?

It can mean a number of things I assume. To me it means it's better to cut cheese into slices as opposed to grated.

Haha. I still don't get it. Are you saying 3gb is fine or that the other person is right

It depends. What resolution? Games being played?

A gtx 1060 won't do 4k at decent fps.

My pc is hooked up to a 4k TV I can't afford 1070/80/titan prices and I know this card is aimed at 1080 gaming. Is there any point in getting this?
Having always gamed with monitors I'm not familiar with how well a TV can display different resolutions.

Are you oncommission from video card manufacturers? I notice you have posted several similar ones. If you have made a comparrison that might help others it might have been better to publish it in one place rather than clog up this board with lots of very similar items.

What difference does the 3gb extra ram in the 6gb versions make? Seems to be a £70 + difference

It's not just RAM between the 3 and 6GB versions, the 3GB is gimped by having 10% less CUDA cores.

Tempting. There's also the INNO3D 1060 board on OCUK. Affords you a dual-fan cooling solution and you can source some reviews/temps for it if I remember correctly.
I've got a feeling there's gonna be a Gigabyte, Zotac or MSi 1060 deal soon, guessing about this price. Only a matter of time really.
