Popped in to my local Homebase in Chatham, Kent and they had two of these BBQ's reduced. I took one so one left.
amazimg price as these are well over £500 elsewhere

Managed to source on from Tunbridge Wells store, after I put them in touch with their Hove store who had the other box that made the complete BBQ. They even got a driver to go and collect the other box and set the BBQ aside for me to collect today. Even took some money off to pay towards my petrol as it was a little bit of a trek, but well worth it for the price!

Picked up the display model from belfast today for the grand sum of £99, has a few marks etc but I can live with them for the price.
If anyone has there's built would they mind taking a photo of the back of the bbq and posting it up as I want to check its been built right.

Stoke and Bredbury (Manchester) both have box 1 of 2 but I gave up trying to find box 2 to make a set - hope that helps

Homebase stock codes for their computers are 314408 and 314409 remember its 2 boxes and they're pretty big

Thanks for the heads up about Bath - got one!! Was just about to post product codes but you beat me to it! 306765 is the top level prod code but I've been told that people won't find it using that so use the *408, *409 ones as Mark says :sunglasses:

Couldn't scan as the box was not nearby :disappointed: Do you mean they can only find the BBQ if they use the *408 and *409 - OR do you mean only the discounted price will appear with *408 and *409 ? It makes a big difference to me, as they had stock, were just adamant it was not reduced.

Each box goes through the scanner, 1 is £64.?? The other is £59.?? Bath had theirs marked up at £299 on the yellow label but went through the till at the right price and even when I called them that's the prices they gave me. You need to tell them there are 2 boxes.

You need to give them codes 314408 and 314409 for the specific 2 parts you need to buy - they'll show as £299 but when scanned they drop down to the £124 price. If they search the header code it won't bring up any stock it'll just show 0. From the various conversations I had with many, many branches (!) they explained sometimes they have 1 part and not the other due to returns/missing parts. They did confirm (though not sure if this guy was just particularly helpful or whether nationally) that if stock of 1 part is at a nearby store and 1 part at the store you're in they can get it transferred across. No idea how long it takes though. Also make sure you ask them to check the warehouse as this is last season's range so they might not be out on the floor. Good luck!

Thank you mate. With numerous phone calls & nearly giving up found one finally. The guy laughed on phone first saying it was £449 & no way down to £120. I had to beg him to scan them while I was on phone. He came back with a yes & reserved it :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Picked mine up, charged me 64.93 for both boxes. Also got cover for 9.93 :grin: Big boxes mind, don't go to pick up in mini! Many thanks to poster, best spot for a while.

Quite a bit comes in the "smaller" which is a fairly large box and heavy. The frame which holds the oven is in there along with other bits. I didn't have a manual in mine but it's available online at outback.com

There aren't many in stock but I wonder if this cover works too? Says it's for the meteor - £9.93...not sure if the quality is the same?
I tried getting one when I brought my bbq but despite showing 11 in stock they couldn't find any anywhere. If anyone dors does find some actually in stock, please let me know

Sorry but outback are crap.....the burners rot after a year or so due to the heat....the quality is just to low.....I've go through three till.i realised this. Good deal though maybe

I've built mine and the quality looks good. Decent thickness steel and the finish is good. No reason to see why it won't last a couple of years, my old one from Homebase has been left out for 4 years with no cover and it's only because I managed to grab this one that I've replaced it

I'm nearly an hour from there and can't get the store to pick up the phone to check on stock levels. It's a loooong way to go to find them all gone!

Hi, I've collected mine. I've posted a pic of my receipt above. When I called, I had no issue getting through. They told me they had a total of 10 in stock (including the one I purchased).

This is an amazing BBQ - I have had it for a couple of years and have cooked everything from the standard burgers and sausages to roasts and even fried eggs - use it all year round and temperature control is amazing as you can turn burners down, close lid and cook slowly if you want to. This price is incredible...if you can find it...
