Wasnt this around £10 yesterday?

I think the cheapest I've seen MiBand 2 has been around £12 some months ago, not really below £10. Some old deals claim to have been under £10 from a couple years ago, but they ended up being MiBand 1/1S

Good deal! I've been keeping my eye out but missed that one. I don't mind forking over the extra 20 pence premium this time

Would this take being submerged for short periods of time

It's IP67 so in theory you can submerge it in 1 metre of water for 30 minutes and it should be ok.
In reality I wouldn't risk it

I got one the last time it was posted, took the full four weeks to arrive. First one I have had, and boy is it inaccurate. Heart rate monitor is way out, or if it is correct I should be on medication to increase it! Also the step counter thinks I am walking when driving the car. Makes a good watch, and call text notifier, also the battery lasts for weeks. So as these were all I wanted it for I am not bothered.

Did the heart rate on both my Huawei Watch & the Mii Band 2 at the same time and they have exactly the same result.

So are they both inaccurate? Or do I have a dodgy heart? Today, I have had it on all day, apparently have walked 2.3km and walked 3429 steps. I have been sat on my arse most of the day, either in the house or the car. Is this item anything other than a watch with Bluetooth phone text function? No big deal for me, but it certainly is not a fitness tracker.

Those that expect decent accuracy from a device that's £15 need to lower their expectations. Even fitbits are 5-10 maybe more bpms out at they can be up to £150. With regards to fitness trackers, think of them like your mpg and miles remaining counter on your car. They are an indication thereabouts of what you are doing. For £15 this is an excellent device which has several excellent third party apps for a more detailed fitness tracking experience. And you can buy 8 of these to one Fitbit. And banggood is very slow generally so if buying for a present but well in advance!

After a couple of weeks with mine, I can only downscore it on the display outdoors in sunlight. I don't really like the look of if but that's a subjective thing.
The heart rate monitor is reasonably good if you turn the watch round and wear it on the inside of your wrist. The step counters on all these pedometers is really an indication of your level of activity rather than a precise count of paces. I love all the functionality in the app, more than I've been able to explore so far but I'm enjoying the sleep analysis.
There's no way I would shell out £95 for a Fitbit Alta over one of these. These are a miracle of modern Sino-Bargains.

I got mine when the last deal was from gear best for £12. I can't fault it. The app apparently maps my sleeping patterns, heart rate, steps, don't know how accurate it is but I'm happy. Tells time, shows text and call notifications. I have it a week and haven't needed to charge it. It hasn't died when washing the dishes or if I'm in the shower.

Recorded the slightest of movement..done a 2 hour train ride and it counted 4000+ steps ...in the car it records steps...the accuracy is extremely poor ....

Do people not understand how these work? they record movement not steps, of course it's going to count 'steps' in a 2 hour train journey.

Some people reporting that theirs record "steps" when they are not moving. Mine has been on my wrist this morning sitting at my desk for 1.5 hours so far, and it has hardly changed the number. But if I walk down to get some tea it will start to increase. So it does seem to count activity properly in my experience.
I've just looked at the battery indicator in the app, after 2 weeks use it is down to 55%, so I should get a month per charge out of it.
