Don't usually see 72% discount on oral-b. It's usually 50% or 60% during Black Friday type events. This seems like an amazing deal for a high end toothbrush only for bank holiday weekend

If it's a model with their lithium battery it will last a good 20 minutes +, not sure if this one has the old type battery.

I bought this model back on Prime Day when it was the same price.
I can confirm it has the older Ni-Mh battery, not a Lithium one.
Charge lasts about five to six days, used twice a day at 2 and a half minutes per brushing session.

This is a great deal. Worth noting though (camel that it has been at this price point five times since May. The most it has been since last year is about £60. In May it was £33.

Leeanne123 I've got oralb 2500 and it's great. Dentist told me anything 2000 or above good so the higher the better I assume but usually more expensive so sounds like a good deal. Hope that helps

Brushing is all the same across all but the cheapest models. All the more expensive ones provide is more features, Bluetooth and accessories and so on. Unless you have a specialist need the 2000 or 2500 are the best options in my opinion.
Heads come with the coloured band, which colour it is though is pot luck. But yes they have them.

Battery life is pathetic and around 1 week..changing takes 48 hours! (common problems of Oral-B) a real pain in the back unless There is power socket in bathroom and can keep it on dock charging permanently.
For comparison most Philips Sonicare models take just 4 hours to charge and charge lasts 3 weeks..

The Bluetooth is going to use the battery a bit more I would think. The battery life thing isn't a major issue for me. Just leave it on charge over night or when you go to work once a week and that should do most people unless you are going away for a week or two at which point you will need to take the charger.
It is worth mentioning that Boots (instore, not showing online yet) are selling the Pro2 2000 for £39.99. A bit more basic but has a lithium ion battery that will last for two weeks instead. I rarely use the different modes of my current brush so I would rather have better battery life than a brush mode that stimulates my gums, and bluetooth.

I took your advice and bought the last one Pro2 on the shelf in my local boots. Thanks for the tip. My wife recently bought original 2000 which she has constantly on charge. At least we can share the same charger - but I can keep mine in the bathroom for a while once it is charged! :face_with_monocle:
