This is good price than Carphonewarehouse's £ 99 + £ 10 top up.

Can this be unlocked cheaply? I have looked on EBay but my search did not find unlock codes for 99p deals...

Considering its Nokia.... How's the camera?

The camera is passable. It's basically the same as the other 8MP cameras in the price bracket. I compared it with the Vodafone Smart N8 (13MP), and a Lumia 650 (8MP). The Lumia 650 had significantly better image quality than the others, the Nokia 3 came in second, and the Smart N8 was easily the worst despite the higher MP count.

Ah balls.... I love Nokia and even stayed with them through Microsoft Windows.
Hopefully they'll recreate the glory camera and hardware days but with a better OS. If they do, I'll buy instantly.

The Nokia 8 is being launched today and the Nokia 9 will probably come shortly after. They seem like they might have good cameras.

Finally what Nokia should of done I. The 1st place rather then the horrible windows kack that Microsoft insisted on poisoning Nokia handsets with.Always knew Microsoft would fall flat on their face with windows on a phone.Have used this phone and reminds me of the pixel and the Moto g5 very clean simple menus and in all a decent phone.

Hmm read some reviews and better to save up some money and spend a bit more for a better phone (like Moto E4 if you're on a budget or ideally Moto G5 or alike)

So it's £99.

For £99 I'd expect full HD 5/5.5" screen, 3000+mah battery and at least a hexacore CPU from a UK based retailer, like my old smart 6 ultra from 2015 which was £99, and the medion phone I bought the other month from amazon.

Specs aren't bad for a budget phone
This has 2Gb RAM + Processor will be better than a lot of the hexacore/octacore processors from 24 months ago: this chipset can utilize ALL 4 cores at the same time, the average hexacore will only use 4 max at the same time, the Nokia 3 has a 64-bit processor, older ones often 32-bit. Also supports encryption (AES) and virtualization... a lot of factors to take into account. Battery is probably adjusted to the SoC and screen so probably doesn't need a BIG battery

Specs aren't bad but the software is poorly optimised. It felt sluggish compared to the Vodafone Smart N8 that I compared it to. There is also test on YouTube comparing the Moto C Plus to the Nokia 3 (they share the same basic specs). The Moto C Plus is significantly faster at loading applications, especially when multi-tasking.
Also the screen is very bluish, everything is tinted blue and unfortunately there are no settings to alter the temperature of the screen.
The only good thing about it is the great build quality IMO.

Not that ive seen one but i imagine the screen is nice, but yeh low power chipset for anyone planning on doing anything meaningful on it.
Ill add heat purely on price vs other places.
