I'd rather buy from Symths if it's the same deal.
Zavvi/TheHut and the poorly chosen UK supplier Nintendo UK are an awful cleft wipe of a supplier.

Although it's run by The Hut Group, I will point out to you that you get a 2 year warranty with the Official Nintendo Store

If like me you already have a New 3DS or a 3DS XL, you can buy a replacement 'skin' that you can attach yourselves right here for the sum of £12.33/ £13.28 + shipping

Hopefully you won't need to fiddle with stickers and they sell the shell - Like these

There is but they're from china and you still wouldn't have a grey inside or coloured buttons though. But they exist

They can be found on Ebay, AliExpress, Banggood & if you have a look at the "how to guides" on youtube they usually provide links.

Any chance of these appreciating in value? Or is that a pipe dream?

Good question but I find it hard to believe they will. None of the Zelda limited edition consoles have and I would at least expect those to appreciate

I think this SNES one might fetch a large price just before Xmas if they sell out (which looks to be the case), as the SNES brand (from the mini classic) will be very much in vogue at that time

My majoras mask console didn't have a wobbly top hinge?
Be careful with these amazon codes i purchased a game with a code ie £5 off then purchased another item with the £20 off and woke up this morning and they had canceled the £20 off order claiming i've bought to much and they want an explanation.
one item is to much now ?
i've re ordered to see what will happen and if it don't work then i'll just buy from tesco they're loss.
typical amazon wiht the shoddy cservice, i was bad enough that i was on the phone and live chat for over another with diffrent agents who had no lcue claiming there was no promo please provide them links etc.
typical amazon site says one thing agents and supervisors say another.

This one is a bit odd for me.
Yes I have nostalgia for the SNES, its games, colour scheme and controller.
However it's not as if you went round carrying the console unit like a Gameboy, there's some sort of dissonance there for me.

The Snes edition would actually make some sense if there were actually a lot of Snes games available via VC. Where's FF6 when you need it?
