You must have received the email (from Morrisons ) and activate the offer from the email . So check your junk folder ! I tend to get these offers once every month or two - though I didn't get the petrol one last week so worth checking .

Morrisons' loyalty card is one of the poorest, most badly thought out ones i've ever had. It has absolutely zero value for single people.

I'm single :relaxed: - Don't you eat (cook your self ) - drink beer ,coffee , tea , orange ? They sell loads of stuff and you also get points with petrol ( this offer doesn't work with petrol though -in store shop only ). A couple of boxes of beer , some milk and frozen chips should sort the £40 . If you get the deal its 12.5 % off a £40 shop -not to be sniffed at .

i'm single and on a limited income so the more card is utterly worthless. it's taken me about 3 years just to almost get to 2000 points.

It's only taken me about a year to earn a fiver. And that's including petrol spend.

i don't drive, so that option is out. but good for you if you've spent a grand to earn a fiver

My email only came through 10 minutes ago , so don't vote it cold if you haven't got yours yet (you'll feel really bad if you vote cold then get the email 5 mins later :disappointed: ) . Wait till tomorrow ,then vote it cold if you still haven't had the email .
I couldn't care less about heat just trying to ensure no one deletes a potential £5 windfall in their inbox /junk folder

This is a decent saving so I've voted hot but I'm also not a fan of the More scheme. At standard earning rates you need to spend £1000 to get £5 off a shop which is crazy. Many of the More bonus points are 100 or 200 points - which sound good but in reality are only 10p or 20p.

I agree , the points are pitiful (as are Nectar ) unless there is an offer on . But round our way their is only Morrisons ,Sainsburys or Waitrose - Morrisons are cheapest on nearly all stuff (and sell petrol ) so I spend there anyway . I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to shop at Morrisons just because of the points .

Got this email, activated to use within 72 hours but in all honesty, it will be very hard for me to spend £40 In one transaction with Morrisons.

Tinned or frozen food you will use anyway - Coffee ,sauce etc . Worth buying stuff you will use in advance for £5 off a £40 shop .

Singleton here. I have no loyalty to all supermarkets even though I have all the store cards as I don't buy tins or frozen foods from only Morrisons. I buy who's the cheapest to who can offer my taste palette. I'm happy to buy any supermarkets' own brands, not just the big brands either. Never ever sent £40 In one transaction with Morrisons in my whole life. Again, these offers are always time-limited throughout the whole year & expect a big shop which I rarely do. Now, if you're a couple then that's easily done with but maybe not Singletons.

Not happy, I've never been emailed an offer from Morrisons ( don't worry not voting cold ) , signed up for their card when it first started as well  Shop there every week during term time so maybe they don't feel the need to offer me any extras

Morrison's quite frequently send me thru' the post "get x number of points on a ££ spend" vouchers (spend is usually £25 spend but have been up to £40). In fact just this month I received 3 (1 for each week) "Spend £25 & get around 2700 points per spend" [for each voucher]. I used them all.
I do miss Match & More but I do get quite a few points via those vouchers.
Having said all of that I didn't receive this email, but then again they don't deliver in my area so that is probably it. :face_with_monocle:

I had a printed voucher 2 weeks ago at the till 10000 points on a £60 online order for next 3 weeks. Has worked for last 2 weeks and combined with 1p delivery, that's £30 in vouchers, and I probably spent less as I wasn't tempted with extras and didn't have to take he kids shopping, bonus all round from me.

That's the problem , Opt in and you receive all sorts of garbage , opt out - you miss the rubbish and very occasionally you miss something worthwhile.

The till spits aren't account specific, so if you happen to stumble upon any high value points ones at self service tills, grab them to use yourself. For example, I was issued a 3000 points for a £30 shop the other day. A lot of people leave these at the till along with their receipt. That voucher is worth £3, so worth using.

Heat for this deal, agree though that the More card is just abut the worst reward card out there (and I spend for a family).

Yes , its certainly no reason to shop at Morrisons - but a bonus if you shop there anyway .

Always scan one product for £1 and pay for it, then wait to see what vouchers come out then pay for rest of shopping with newly printed vouchers same goes with Sainsbury's.

The most pointless (no pun intended) card in the world
MSK.

It is cack for single people. Most loyally schemes are. Never even manage the £20 ones at Tesco or Sainsbury's.
Does it work on gift vouchers though? That's usually where it gets more interesting.

I was in a Morrisons and daughter spotted a dressing gown she liked. It was only £16 and she LOVES it. I know, not a place I'd browse for something to wear, but just a thought? It looks and feels just like the Next ones.

I used to shop at Morrison when they send the actual coupon to my door but never received since 2 years ago.And even i spent more than 80 everytime shop there, this so called 5000 points are useless,i often received this active points emails. the problem is they want you go to their shop spend more than 40 in 2 days!I don't bother to active it anymore as i don't like the hurry threat and it's not even a coupon to use right away! But the fish market in Morrison is the best among all the other supermarkets in my city so i still go time to time.

Ye, I got 200 points per £10 when spending at least £40. Got that as a till coupon. I only do small shops at all supermarkets and am lucky that I have all of them nearby, apart from Waitrose, but as the op says, better something than nothing, even if it's not much. If my choice is Asda or Morrisons for fuel I'll go to Morrisons, for the points, and I do think that Morrisons fresh produce is very good quality. Incidentally, registering for Morrisons baby club has given me quite a few extra points and a couple of freebies.

Am I just being blind or does the Morrisons More app not have a 'virtual' card that I can scan rather than carrying round an actual card?
This caught me out on Friday as I did the spend assuming it would have! Luckily a quick email to Morrisons with a photo of my receipt and they stuck the 5000 points on manually for me
