Normally £3-3.50 elsewhere. I bought a tube of this recently and I've used it with great success. I particularly like the glue-dispensing system as it seems to suck the glue back into the bottle for storage (we all know that Super Glue tends to go hard in the tube after a while)..
The rubber-infused formula gives the bond a certain flex, unlike regular superglues. Loctite Powerflex Control Super Glue offers an extra strong rubber-infused formula for flexible bonds in easy grip squeeze bottle for better control. Weather and shock resistant.
Extra strong and flexible Loctite Super Glue provides strong and reliable solutions for your gluing tasks at home. Developed with industrial expertise. Thanks to its precise dispensing system, Loctite Super Glue Control is easy to use and to apply. Easy squeeze bottle for maximum control. Bonds in seconds and holds heavy loads Dries transparent for invisible bonds Self-piercing, anti-clog cap Achieves D3 technical standards according to BS EN 204. Solvent free Suitable for use on most surfaces Recommended on: China, Metal, Rubber, Leather, Wood, Plastic and Paper. Ideal for vertical applications and porous materials.
How to Use It
1) Make sure that the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and close fitting. Lightly dampen porous surfaces. 2) On first use, screw closure clockwise to activate pack. Unscrew and remove cap to apply adhesive. 3) Gently press side panels to apply a small amount of adhesive to one surface only. 4) Press the surfaces together immediately and hold in place until set. 5) After use: Close product immediately and store in the package under cool and dry conditions. Use blistercard for permanent storage of the product.
Bonded skin: In case of bonded skin, peel apart using soap, hot water and a blunt edge e.g. teaspoon handle.
I have found the Poundland superglue to be very effective. Once opened the tube lasts for ages, and does not go off. Great tip about the freezer.

The one I buy from Poundland is UHU Power (in fact I've got a tube right next to me) - the one I have is 33ml. It's in Russian but good for small jobs that don't require a really strong glue.

also, keep superglue in the freezer. the glue can't set at -18C and even an opened container will last forever instead of glueing itself solid. up until i learned this, i always bought the '10 tubes for a pound' type deal because an opened superglue container pretty much has to be binned.

If you need 'super glue' in bulk buy it from your local model shop. You can buy bigger amounts which cost less per gram and have a much bigger range of viscosities and setting speeds. It all uses the same main ingredient.
There's another Powerflex Super Glue in a different dispenser, still 3g, down to £1.50 from £3.75 tesco.com/dir…prd "Ordinary" Loctite Super Glue 5g is £1.50 from £3 at Tesco Groceries tesco.com/gro…081
