I know this isn't the cheapest this has been but I've waited to get one of these in black so that it matches the rest of my kitchen appliances. anyway in stock with free C&C or free delivery.
I've recently had a bad experience with Kenwood customer service when mine stopped working after 13 months. They refused to do anything and I've ended up with a 1/3 of what I'd paid for the machine back from Tesco :disappointed: I'm considering buying my replacement from John Lewis for the 2yr guarantee!

I had an issue with the glass blender jug that came free with my mixer and other than a really disinterested assistant on the phone they sent me out a replacement within a few days.
Can I ask what was wrong with yours as its still within warranty what grounds are they exactly refusing you help on?

It stopped working half way through making a cake and doesn't switch on now. We tried changing the fuse etc. Mine had a 12mth guarantee - basically the two complaints depts sent me from one to the other and in the end Tesco offered a partial refund (1/3 of the purchase price) as it had not lasted as long as you would expect a mixer of this price to last.

I see, I thought they all came with 5 years if you registered but a minimum of 2 if you didn't. Bad luck seems like bad practice from Kenwood for such an expensive item.

I got this for £99 during Black Friday, so I'd wait... but I dunno Brexit destroying the pound hasn't helped.
That said I've owned the KitchenAid (it died after 5 or 6 years) and this is every bit as good as that was, I prefer the Glass bowl of this, but that's just for my dough application.

Hey adhkarzf,
Thanks for the advise, I'm not a baker myself but my fiancee is. It comes with quite a few attachments however it Doesnt look like it comes with the flexi beater so i'll see if i can pick that up for her.
Thanks

I've got the one with a metal bowl and in all honesty I find it quite heavy and hard to lift when full I would expect the glass one to be even heavier.
The price is fair for the product as its excellent in my opinion made me bake so much more usually use it at least once a week and its easy to clean. Highly recommend getting the flexi beater if it doesn't come with it I mainly use that.
