Dear customer,
Thanks for your recent order.
At 8:27am this morning an Amazon technical issue has occured and incorrectly merged a listing for a Kenwood bread maker (£139.99) and a Kenwood bread pan (£26.45), we do not stock the complete machine and therefore unable to fulfil this order.
Due to the above your order has been cancelled, no money will be taken or a full refund completed if Amazon have taken payment.
Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience.

Ditto,
To be fair, the seller is called Sussex 'Spares'. Ah well, never mind. At least we tried.

Scrap that also received the email cancelling the order

Mine as despatched and now I've had an email cancelling it. Seems stupid to claim it's despatched and then email though

Not just stupid, but actually illegal. They can't just cancel the sale without your full agreement once they've taken payment and said it's been dispatched. Oh dear - these companies never learn.

Just wondering what emails people have had? i had the initial one saying I'd placed the order. Then a dispatched one. And finally I've had a shipping email too.
So far I've not had a cancelled email

Just had email advising it was an error and will be refunded. This is despite already having despatch email

Mine also dispatched, unbelievable really. Maybe the Amazon seller doesn't want to have complaints against it sent to Amazon so decided to honour the orders? No idea but they MUST have lost a wedge of money on this....

How does this differ froma an oven?
tightpants to grinnaslee
21 Aug 17#9
If you put all the ingredients in an oven, you'll find, when you return, they are in exactly the same position as when you left them - somewhat drier if you've turned the oven on... This machine will mix it all up for you, give the dough a lovely environment to grow in, knock it back a bit (no need to call social services) and then cook it for you!
grinnaslee to tightpants
21 Aug 17#11
So if I have a mixer and an environment for the yeast to do its thing (warm kitchen), then no different between a bread maker and a mixer with an oven.
bellboys to grinnaslee
21 Aug 17#12
Of course there is a difference and I'm sure you are just being awkward for the sake of it. In your scenario you have to use a mixer, tget the yeast started, hen transfer it to the breadmaker. A breadmaker allows you to simply put all the ingredients in the machine, set the programme and leave it to do EVERYTHING ELSE. But at the end of the day no-one is forcing you buy this so maybe your time would be best spent elsewhere on t'internet?
PS I notice one of your posted deals is for a lawnmower but surely you would make do with a pair of garden shears instead? :relaxed:

Not being awkward, just stating it would be a pointless purchase for myself.

Astonishingly cheap. I ordered one instantly , but I've since cancelled the order, I don't think I'd have one at any price.
We use the (Panasonic) bread-maker every day. never a problem. It's comments like this one from of the 69 1-star reviews that made me cancel. amazon.co.uk/gp/…X50
