I also placed an order, received the email, then nothing at all. Called the Trainline support team and they claim to have never heard of this offer  Even better I spent so long on hold it's now been a waste of money even if I do get my code.

Also ordered a ticket and got email advising I would receive a code in under 24 hours, thus far I am yet to receive a code

I received an email that I will receive my iTunes code in 24 hours. It's more than 24 hours, no code for me yet

Might struggle to get quidco as I believe this is purchases from the iOS app only...
Remember there's a booking fee, but you don't have to pay it if you're buying tickets on the day of travel.
Additionally, they charge you extra (over a pound!) for using credit cards. This only shows up at the last second, when Pay asks you for your fingerprint to authorise. Pay with your debit card to avoid this.
I did this yesterday morning, and had applied the emailed code to my iTunes account by late afternoon. Didn't even know they were running a promotion when I booked!

Thanks OP, needed to book some tickets at lunch and saw this come up on the Best Daily email. Wouldn't usually use Trainline but the £5 voucher persuaded me.
