It's getting shipped from Hong Kong, no point going for insured shipping because it's the same courier £10.00 cheaper for me
Heard they take your money and it's a mission to claim it back good luck to everyone ordered this hope it takes you 5-7 working days for your refunds to come through after they cancel your order telling you it's out of stock we don't have enough Apple iPad Pro 9.7" 128GB Wifi Tablet - Space Gray in stock
cgrainger123
23 Aug 17#31
Hold on so is it legit or not?
anouj to cgrainger123
23 Aug 17#37
It is legit, the reason for all the bad reviews is because they take ages and ages for your order to be shipped and for it to arrive. Therefore many people think they have been scammed as they expect the order to arrive quick. People don't realise they ship from Hong Kong. Secondly when these people then goto cancel, they take ages to refund and customer support don't reply quick ether. As long as you order with paypal or credit card you have protection so I wouldn't worry just expect to wait a while !

Just think to yourself is it worth the risk it's coming from Hong Kong that's roughly 1-2 months waiting time if yes then go for it if no then claim your money from your credit card or PayPal or any other source you used to order this Apple iPad Pro 9.7" 128GB Wifi Tablet - Space Gray

it's legit but they are likely ship from HK/overseas - which you wouldn't know about it until you see invoice with a HK address.
I ordered and I asked a couple of times if it was going to be shipped from HK - the answer to my questions was never received - which i took as a yes. They did offer to refund and duly received. But is it even legal to sell things to UK without letting them know the origin of the product?
So unlike say DigiRev which does have a UK outlet, eGlob definitely doesn't. Don't get me wrong, if I was willing to take the risk of lost parcel/import tax/duty+admin fees, I would expect a even bigger discount....for £90 saving on a Samsung S8+...no thank you

I have never personally used eGlobal but seen many threads of theirs and people have mentioned how it is actually sent from the UK. It will be sent from HK to the UK in batches and then processed by someone here and posted domestically so no tax or duty, and no doubt they're pulling some fraudulent scam when they ship in bulk.
Though in fairness I've ordered from legit US stores who also do that.

Stay away from e global. Based in China, MasterCard said there having lots of problems with goods not turning up. If already bought iPad then contact your card provider and give them the heads up stating you have bought goods but concerned its from China, response should be wait and see, if fake or doesn't show up to 1 month or held by customs (you will receive letter off customs) then get back in touch. Then goes to a decision panel .

I used this co. a few years ago for a Samsung phone. It arrived after approx 2 weeks. I did pay import duties, around £22. But, at that time, the web site stated that IF you get charged import taxes they woukd refund, which they did, eventually. I cannot see anything on their site currently about import duties but I assume that you will have to pay this. Their site does state no shipping to Channel Islands. The phone I bought was perfect, apart from the box had been opened and inspected by customs. Just before 2 years, developed a fault, but, was fully covered under Samsung warranty and repaired. Samsung were even able to confirm the purchase.

Amazed at the stupidity of people on here. What 'hassle'?!
Worse case scenario is that is gets cancelled due to being a misprice or stock shortage and then we wait a few days for our credit card to be refunded, big deal!
Eglobalcentral are a known company who even feature on cashback sites. We might have to wait a while for delivery but I'm happy with that if it means I make a big saving.
As for the trustpilot reviews, how many of us go out of our way to write positive reviews?! Its where you go when you've had a bad experience. Reviews dont bother me one bit.

No you will not get your ipads *if* it was a misprint price, they not going to honour it for the sake of some reputation and lose out on a lot of money, I've had bigger, more known UK companies not honour misprint prices, usually they just tell everyone that there was no stock left.
Only way this is legit is if these were somehow sourced for cheaper and they looking to get rid of them ASAP, maybe they hijacked a lorry carrying ipads

Also a lot of you are taking a very risky and small chance on a etailer with very negative reviews on a pricing that is unrealistic with the attitude of "oh if I lose my money I'll just claim it back from my bank" so basically you want to take stupid actions on your behalf but past on negative consequences to someone else.
I'm suprised banks haven't already decided not to cover abroad purchases, if this keeps up one day they might, it's the same reason why things like LSD, psychedelics and weed are all illegal now thanks to irresponsible people, there was a time they were actually legal.

Banks make money from people trading....why would they stop this?

24 Aug 17#232
when you pay using paypal, Paypal takes money from your source (card or account whatever you have linked) straight away. Paypal credit allows you some time to pay back that money like a credit card - only you dont get a credit card number - while paying you get an additional option... so something like Credit Card, Debit Card, Paypal, Paypal Credit.
Paypal credit offers 0% interest credit for 4 months (only if purchase is over a certain minimum £150 I think) and maybe other offers from time to time.
you need to sign up to paypal credit, you do not get it automatically if you have paypal account.

I'll be surprised if you can withdraw the refund from your PayPal account. PayPal usually like to earn a weeks worth of interest until you're allowed to withdraw it !! :imp:

Seeing as you only joined the site yesterday, maybe I should explain that this is actually a "deals" website. I've been a member for nearly 10 years and got some ridiculous bargains through mis-prices and the like. And on every deal, there was someone like you, telling everyone how stupid they were for even thinking it was going to be honoured.
Not once have I ever lost any money, well apart from buying loads of things I didn't actually need but that's something else you'll learn over time. And just remember, if you don't like the odd risk, or taking a small chance on a retailer with negative reviews, you can always send you mum down to Argos to collect your stuff.

Funny they still selling them at 443, whilst telling everyone it's out of stock, if anyone buys it at the new price please let us know whether or not it's available.
People don't even realise how (if it was) a dishonest advertising like this can help with traffic and free advertising, bad newspapers make fake ridiculous headlines all the time to drive traffic too.

wait and see.
Also, is this not a standard iPad? There isn't a 128GB Pro is there?
I bought a moto 360 that came from a hukd deal
I ordered and I asked a couple of times if it was going to be shipped from HK - the answer to my questions was never received - which i took as a yes. They did offer to refund and duly received. But is it even legal to sell things to UK without letting them know the origin of the product?
So unlike say DigiRev which does have a UK outlet, eGlob definitely doesn't. Don't get me wrong, if I was willing to take the risk of lost parcel/import tax/duty+admin fees, I would expect a even bigger discount....for £90 saving on a Samsung S8+...no thank you
JBUY599
Hope that helps those taking a punt! :smiley_cat:

Though in fairness I've ordered from legit US stores who also do that.
I've contacted them for the past few weeks with zero response.
I strongly suggest that you avoid eglobal.
I hope it turns up, can't be bothered if it all goes wrong!
This is priced £445 on their eBay.
Make sure you use your credit card, otherwise you might as well do this.
always had my orders shipped in a day or two and received a few days later
Will keep you updated!
heers OP!
Seems too good to be true ...
This is the epitome of " it if seems to good to be true"
Why put yourself through it ?
Bad news: Said person was based in the US, probably voted for Donald Trump, and may therefore be an 11 on the Gullibility scale of 1-10
This site seems dodgier since it had the "make-over"
Am I trendy yet boys?
This is clearly the latter and your'e all in for a headache getting your money back.
My first experience was different. I ordered a full size luminous skeleton for Halloween. Got here for Christmas...
You lose your section 75 protection as to benefit from the credit card protection it needs to be paid directly to the retailer. Especially on a dodgy purchase like this!!
Do wish the buyers luck, might have been a misprice(?) :-)
Worse case scenario is that is gets cancelled due to being a misprice or stock shortage and then we wait a few days for our credit card to be refunded, big deal!
Eglobalcentral are a known company who even feature on cashback sites. We might have to wait a while for delivery but I'm happy with that if it means I make a big saving.
As for the trustpilot reviews, how many of us go out of our way to write positive reviews?! Its where you go when you've had a bad experience. Reviews dont bother me one bit.
Only way this is legit is if these were somehow sourced for cheaper and they looking to get rid of them ASAP, maybe they hijacked a lorry carrying ipads
EDIT: Just for the record, I order one. Holding thumbs!.
