For £5/mth you get the 500 minutes, 5,000 texts, 1.5GB 4G data on rollover. You can choose the one plan contract, meaning you can limit your bill to no more than £5 over the tariff price and roaming and bill capping all in the one plan. So use only 1gb one month and you'll have 2gb to use the next.
Who can get it? Need-to-knows One-month contract. Runs off the Three network. If you exceed your allowance, it's 10.24p/MB for data, 40p/min for calls to UK mobiles or landlines and 14p per text. Tethering isn't allowed with this network* You'll be credit-checked – see our Credit Scores guide.
Not a bad deal but iD is crap on customer service. Not bas for medium to heavy users!
*officially its not but iD say it uses up your allowance too quickly however they will not throw you off for tethering maybe id can confirm that!

One thing to mention with EU roaming on iDmobile. They charge if you call/text another EU country(except UK) from the one you are roaming in.. It should come out of your inclusive minutes, got aa feeling they will have to change it.

Hi Winchman, great news; this has recently changed and you are now able to call one EU country from another EU country, inclusive in your plan!

Thanks for that, thought it was odd in the first place as all the other networks include it as per the new roaming rules.

too late for the customer. ID mobile were clearly trying to wiggle out of the EU requirements.

Do minutes roll over too?
And is there a roll over limit?

Hi OB1, I mam afraid your minutes do not rollover, this is a feature for data only.

i had a bad experience with them... they put a mark on my credit file with experion. I had sent the sim back under the 14 day cooling off period as I could not get reception at home. I had phoned ID and the said that was all ok .. then i got bills and i told them I had cancelled but they couldn't be told.. wasted hours with them.. get your cancellation in writing from them....... Beware !!

Exactly this happened to me. They passed it on to a debt collection agency!

I've been with iD for about a year and a half. I've had no problems so far.

I think all networks have customer services which can be shocking .I've just spent 1 hour trying to get my pak code from 3 .4 years loyal customer but refused to offer the 9 package on their website ,saying it was for new customers only despite no mention what so ever on the deal.I would advise anyone just go with monthly deal then you can move if no good.

My experience with ID mobile is terrible. There are better deals with infinitely better providers.
I'd rather rejoin Virgin and pay double than deal with these scumbags.

Please bear in mind that iD have the worst service out of all the providers, if you try to cancel they'll still charge you then send the bailiffs around. Dreadful. Always vote iD cold.

Maybe in your experience. I've had great service from iD and never met a bailiff.

I've been with ID for just over a year now. Not had any issues and the app is great. I was paying £5 for 5000 texts 200 mins and 1gb (to drop to 500mb after 6 months). After 6 months they text to say that they would be continuing the 1gb for me. This week I have upgrade to this package for free to get the extra 300 mins and .5gb (not that I need it). No problems in upgrading and managed it all online through the app.

I originally signed up this deal last week but then the current Plusnet deal seems better with more data allowance and better reception (EE rather than 3) for just a £1 extra, so i cancelled the ID plan.

THE ID APP IS GOOD gives you lots of info. I got a free upgrade to this from 1.0 gigs data after three months - no mess around Service is fine.
All good

Thanks, I was on a similar deal (250 mins, 2Gb data @ £7.50) but rarely use more that 1Gb so just upgraded.

Please bear in mind, if you do spend your data allowance, the £5 cap could be used but you would only get another 50 MB of data, so essentially you could be paying £10 a month for 1.55 GB of data which is not a good deal (as you can use all the data and exceed it before you get the message stating you have used all your data)
