Decent spec, especially the RAM, i3 processor and 8 hour battery life.
Voted HOT with the bundle.
EDIT: other colours available also, black and white.

tempting... put off by screen res. Its between this and the acer spin for me (13.3 screen full hd).

Go for the Spin or Swift. 768p is an abomination.

Thing putting me off the spin is the plasticky feel to the keyboard. And the bounce

How about the Swift? IIRC it's got an Aluminium body so may be more sturdy.

Will look. Currently can get the spin for 400 quid. So tempting...

Good price but spec is poor. But you do get what you pay for. Spend a little more tho. i5 or above and a SSD is a must. Just bought a Lenovo Ideapad full hd, 256ssd, i7, 8gb for £650.

John Lewis also selling a HP with 128ssd and full HD for £500. Worth the extra in my opinion.

Probably OK for web browsing, word processing or as a paper weight

I've got the white version. Was great.. for a while. Now slow as anything with barely any programmes installed. Looking to sell this one and get a new one, tbh. I also paid around £300.

Laptop prices going up. Don't mind the resolution (just plug in an external monitor if you've already got one) but these budget laptops really need an SSD to make them usable. Used to be able to get 8GB memory + 256GB SSD for £300. Not any more.

I know. I'm struggling to find a good one at 400 quid! Thought I'd have a good choice. Resolution is pants and don't want 15 inch ones. Grrr. Most at 400 have 128 gb HDD too.

Yep I had the same issue. Thought I'd find one that has a reasonable spec and screen to run photoshop well at around £400. Not a chance. Anything under £600 are not worth buying in my eyes. Dunno why prices have rocketed.
