Just received an email offering me the chance to Wine, Dine & Dream for just £59.50pp this Sept / Oct & since my summer has mainly consisted of whining, cooking endless food for kids & nightmares (all caused by the kids) I am sooo tempted. For the money you get to stay 1 night in a decent hotel room, enjoy a 2 course dinner + a bottle of wine in your room
I've had a quick look & there seems to be lots of availability throughout Sept & Oct with some Friday nights included in the offer (quite rare for Fridays to be included in special offers I find).
Sadly Rates at London and Oxford are from £199 & Aberdeen / Cheltenham / Brighton are from £129 but the rate applies at all other locations.
If cocktails are more your thing, then they do have an offer of Mix It Up - which includes 1 Night Stay, 3 courses from their Fixed Price Menu and a classic or seasonal cocktail from just £47.50pp (Dundee) - Link HERE

Click bait price on the title. Price is per person but you can't just go on your own and pay 59.95. Even on their own website they don't try and be underhand, its clearly marked up at £119.

It says £119 on the deal price & the get deal button, so not sure how it's underhand to put price pp & total price

Because by stating a per person cost it suggests that if 1 person wanted to buy it they would be charged £59.95 which isnt true.
I'd understand if you just copied from the website and they listed the cost the same way but they don't so it was something you decided to do yourself. Presumably to make the deal look better?

Don't "pp" deals typically involve at least two people doing it though?

And you'd go to a hotel alone?

Well no actually I sleep on the street instead when I visit places because of the law that hotels are for couples.

Heat from me OP! It quite clearly says "hotel stay for 2" in your title.. not misleading at all. No pleasing some people

If anyone is going to stay in Glasgow, there is an excellent restaurant around the corner called 'Mini Grill' check Groupon for a discount. I booked this up for my Parents a few months ago and it was one of the best meals out they'd had in ages.
Also i'd upgrade the rooms, the standard are titchy.

Have stayed in Malmaison Liverpool and London. Liverpool has the deep bath which my wife loves. Beds are nice and comfy. not a bad location being 5 min walk from the Albert Dock and L1.
London room was basic. Car park was outside which was ideal. Covent Garden was a taxi away...the receptionist called a taxi who charged us £20 to get to Covent Garden! so if you do book, check alternative travel as it was 1.7 miles which was a rip off in my eyes.

Malmaison Barbican is gorgeous, really modern interior. No parking but a 2 minute stroll to the tube.
