Plastic shelving recently did well as a deal and the 5 tier option was £17.99, I was after something that looked a bit sturdier and saw this for £18 - metal and MDF.
While mulling over it it changed to £16.90

Got a bunch of these last year and found them a nightmare to assemble. The shelves supposedly clip in to the legs, however they never hold and trying to get the shelves in is very difficult. Personally I'd go for the plastics shelves Homebase's have homebase.co.uk/en/…330 at £11.97

Peter, looks like you should have asked your mom to help with the assembly

Did you buy any and assemble them yourself, if so well done  . If not maybe buy and try and see for yourself :ninja:

Good price for these. . The comments on lots of previous similar deals for these type shelves apply. The slot in types are wobbly . They can usually also stack half and half if you want, and if you attach to the wall or loft and are willing to drill a few holes and fix with nuts and bolts they ar more safe.

Collected mine last night and put it together this morning. It was a bit tricky to force together but feels plenty sturdy to me once it's up.

Whats mdf like when it gets wet/damp ? How easy is it to clean ? Does it absorb oil-like liquid spillages or absorb and get weak?

Just a few thoughts. Plastic all the way for me.
