I was looking at the M7000 when that was dropping in price a few months back – will be keeping an eye on this now.
I bought my folks the M3300 last Christmas. For what it’s worth, my general impression is that the picture quality was stupendous, sound was ok, but main issue was the use of Freeview and the PVR system within the TV – you can plug a USB into the back of the tv to do live pause or record shows, but it ends up saving recordings in a sub-folder of a sub-folder somewhere, plus they are saved just with some abstract file reference based on date (I assume), rather than the show names, for example.
Saying that, if you were using it with a Sky or BT box then you wouldn’t need to deal with this, so there’s no real downside.
Haven’t seen too many reviews yet though, other than the one of AVForums.

Hisense are every bit as good as Samsung and Lucky Goldstar. But if I was buying a 65" + TV make sure it has a 10 bit panel.

The Apps are shocking on the Hisense range.

Can you elaborate? I have the 50" model (H50N6800) and find the apps to be close to perfect (I use Netflix, Amazon prime video and Plex mostly). Starting each app and switching between them happens pretty much instantly, they look great, are well laid out, responsive and stable.

Can anyone confirm whether its 1,000 nits or has a 10 bit panel? It really is important for anyone wanting the full premium HDR experience.
Boosted brightness of up to 450 nits complements HDR's ability to produce a wider range of colours. HDR Plus not only dramatically enhances detail...

It's 350. 'Boosted' is another way of confusing potential customers. The M7000 is 420.
As above, do you really need 65"? 55" and an extra few hundred will buy you a really nice set, ie OLED.

Thanks. I had the 65KS9000 for £1200. It would seem mad to buy this for £200 less. Hopefully your post will help others fin a better deal.

Best to get the hisense TVs for the picture quality first.
Picked up a H55M7000 for 600 on CPC. On par with the K55S8000 for picture quality.
Always best of getting the top of the range from the year previous than spend double on a branded set.

Think the best value is around the 55" mark
Make sure you get one with decent sound or you'll need a soundbar

Pretty sure its 450 nits, but still well below the HDR certified level, I think the sweet spot for this TV is between £700 - £800

i saw a panasonic ex700 in argos, apart from the reflective screen i liked the picture it produced, but when i nip over to flatpanelshd, there i read this tv is only okay. the ptf 1080p philips i have only produces 350 nits yet when i was watching cape fear on tcm the other night, never mind the poor quality signal tcm send out, the image from the philips was great, lots of depth around the characters. i don't think everything we understand about tv's tells the whole story. the people at flatpanelshd spend all their time watching better quality than most of us can afford and accordingly their standards of acceptance are higher. might be worth a look there for some information also i think john lewis had this one, perhaps they'll price match
