Mine lasted all of six months before the latch mechanism broke internally, a small piece of plastic broke and rendered it useless. like they say "buy cheap, buy twice"

If you had taken back to store they would of exchanged it. providing you had proof of purchase.

Great for dogs as well. Workmen etc.. can actually visit without fear once they are locked behind the gate.

Thank you for posting this! I bought one of these in a previous Aldi baby event for my daughter, who sleepwalks. But she likes to sleep in her sisters room so I have been meaning to buy another - this has saved me buying a more expensive one so thanks

these are crap. easy to trip on bottom bar, or bump your toe into it

Lindam extendable gate is great. It doesn't have the bar at the bottom so you don't trip over it and it's extendable to fit all kind of spaces. The only point that not everyone might like is that it needs to be screwed into both sides, but then it stays in place not like other gates that you can move with enough force.

Before you order, measure your stairs. I bought this last time round and had to buy the extensions which can cost more than the gate itself.
I believe the he gate is 75cm wide but my stairs are 88cm wide...14cm extensions cost me about £11.99 each from PreciousLittleOne.
£23 for a gate isn't bad (inc extension) but not as cheap as it first seemed.

It is not a regular price. I paid £12.99 in previous baby events. Voted hot.

This appears to be just the regular priced item from Lidl. It is probably a perfectly good item, but there is not much point this site just becoming the Lidl weekly offers advertising board, is there?

If a very similar item was For sale elsewhere at a knocked down price say £20 reduced to £15 and this item is £10.99 and both are the same except for the name Thus helping people to save Money is THIS not a deal?
