wish everyone would just stop buying they stupid shark cards! it's only encouraging games companies to make poor add ons for games instead of proper DLC content for their games like extra levels etc. gta 5 is shocking now with rockstar releasing endless online modes and items which are unbelievably overpriced and making people buy their shark cards, which again are hugely overpriced! it's a bloody rip off.and it also made rockstar cancel a missions based single player DLC add on because they were making so much money off the online mode with the shark cards! so take note everyone, from now on don't support that kind of rubbish.only support real gameplay stuff!

I completed game story mode with no money cards or whatever this is. Got the majority of achievements (minus the Ones for gold in every race or activity). I also play online n never used money drops from other people or cheats or mods. I do the missions on hard to get money.. and I've got good top cars, weapons n clothes etc.. not sure why it's needed unless u can't b bothered to play it and people just want to look good in the game. ps I've never heard of shark cards until I saw this.

yes most people play without paying for the shark cards. I think this is the best way to do it for everyone. This way the game creators get paid and fund the next games as well and we all get a better gaming experience - in theory! Ofc the rich folk also get what they want an easier game lol.

This is the exact reason I don't play GTA online. It's either a huge grind or a case of buying cards to get money. The greed from R* has killed off any future chances of story DLC. Between that and how T2 treat modders I'd be hard pushed to buy their next game.

People buy them because it caters to the gamestyle they want. They want to be immersed in just one game and have everything that game has to offer, or have a ton of money and value time so use cash to remove grind. In the lifecycle of a console these days it's possible to be so invested in some online games that you only actually play 2-3 games the whole time. I'm thinking along the lines of GTA V and Destiny here. If that's what people want then let them. Some other developers will come along and cater to those wanting the alternative. Free market man, stop telling people what to buy and what not to buy to suit your personal subjective opinions/needs.

seems like your in the minority mate. everyone's opinion counts but the FACT rockstar canceled the planned proper DLC for the game because of focusing on the online section tells you that most fans peed off. yes maybe charging a wee bit for all the extra stuff would be fine, but we're talking about shark cards that are sometimes 4 times as much as the actual game itself lol. and yes I've completed the game too,3 times in fact choosing different directions in the story each time. also I'm online but refuse to waste my life and money trying to get to access the newer parts of the online world as it's ridiculously way way WAY too much! both in time and cash!

Wanted Story DLC so much but it's sadly not gonna happen. I traded in GTA V a while ago for that reason. I'm annoyed that Rockstar aren't listening to what the fans want. In many ways they are abandoning their roots. Leslie Benzies leaving the company tells you all you need to know. GTA is turning into an MMO :disappointed:
