Argos seem to have no stock remaining but CURRYS have many in stock for the same price of £19. This makes me wonder if the Chromecast is being replaced by a newer model. Has anyone got any information?

Got one today from Snipe Retail Park in Ashton-under-Lyne. I went in-store on a whim whilst passing on my way home from work and they had 8 in stock despite the website telling me it was out of stock for collection and delivery. I'd say it's worth nipping in if you're passing.

They might have sold out in his local area but the majority of these kind of items when argos sell em like this are scattered accross the country in individual stores - they arent showing as deliverable because they havent got them in the central warehouse - so if it says there arent any in your closest store to pick up, cast yer net a bit wider and be prepared to nip over to a pokey little town that isn't even big enough by population to sell em to the locals! :face_with_monocle:

Yea it's sad it's never on offer. I eventually eBayed one for £60 - well happy with it being ethernet and allowing me to do 4K netflix with ease!
