Mum's happy with mine, I'm non plussed but I have too many t-shirts already. It's not bad at all for the cost. Will wear in bed or something.

the quality of these leaves a lot to be desired. very cheap and easily tarnished fabric; poor workmanship..
that being said, the price is hardcore and therefore, on balance, I have given you the benefit of doubt and applied a warm vote for this....
many thanks for your contribution.
i'll get my coat..

How long did yours last? Are these better than Primark shirts?

I wear these pretty much everyday for work in a variety of colours. Some shrink more on first couple of washes than others - mainly in the body length but they are actually lasting pretty well for the money, no worse than most other t-shirts. The dark colours navy, black and dark grey have been least shrinking IME versus the lighter ones.

Yes.
I use these pretty much every day (T-shirt Printer) and make my own tops also. I do prefer the 'Heavy' Version to the 'Ultra' but they are almost the same. Pre-shrunk to 30-40 degrees so unless you are boiling them or putting them in the tumble they keep their shape and sizing.
I wear Gildan T-shirts every day of my life haha, they are good quality and well worth the price in my opinion.

Thanks for your input, is the Gildan 'Heavy' labelled as Gildan G5000?

After washing a couple of times, I found the following:
1. Irregular colour change in places. 2. Fraying in high stress zones, e.g. seams 3. Shrinking after third wash.
I'd say primary are better quality. Even the M&S ones are better in my opinion..
The above factors would indicate poor quality material. But I'll let you all be the judges of this. They are cheap enough to try and if they do perish, simply chuck them and get another..
With kindest regards...

No stock email!
why they do this on ebay is beyond me, pretty miffed!! I don't list what I haven't got?.
Anyways, been offered Fruit of the loom (10 yrs ago maybe) ...Apparently far more expensive, what do you think I should do?

It's v-necks I'm looking for - best I can see after a quick search is these 5 for £12.99* (though don't think they're Ultra) ebay.co.uk/itm…964
Will have a better scour later. As said, Gildan (at least SoftStyle) does shrink a bit, though the recipient likes using his tumble drier which doesn't help!
*Those are White but there's other colour options for an extra 76p (which makes it £13.75) ebay.co.uk/sch…t=0

Ordered the light grey and charcoal yesterday in xl they were in stock at the time, just received two separate emails, one saying out of stock offering replacement with fotl t-shirt same colour stating better quality free upgrade. The other saying it was marked when picking choose another colour. Think I will cancel order after reading some later posts.

I've tried their normal t-shirts and can confirm they shrink quite a bit after washing 2-3 times.
If you want plain t-shirts, I've found the 2 for £7 stuff at Asda to be much better.

Bought three for the laugh in a random colour that was available in large.
I am still wearing 10 year old t shirts from when I was a a teenager, so surely these are some sort of improvement.
