I've gone for it. I collect pops, my step daughter does too and any we don't want can go on a Facebook selling site or similar for a fiver each. If it's awful I can return it. It's so cheap I had to go for it. And I'm a kid at heart so it's exciting too :smile:

Pop figures are stupid IMO. Buy something that is limited edition and much more unique then it's worthwhile having a collection

Except unique, limited edition, high quality statues are often £100+ each. Some people just something they find visually appealing for their mantelpiece/ bookcase and don't care about re-sale prices or bragging rights over having something rare.
Pretty much the same principle as buying an art print for your living room wall vs buying an original piece for much more money.

I've never understood collecting things made to be collected. Especially "limited edition" stuff. I thought these things were for kids. Collect something interesting. No offence to the deal...it's just terrible tat.

Also, a little while back I sold a Jafar I had without the box for £25. These things are a gamble when it comes to being worth money but still fun to collect.

I found a flocked Remy from Ratatouille in the Disney store in London. Picked him up for 11.99 and know he sells for £30+ quid (plus postage) shipped from the US.
Not planning on selling him, but shows there's money in the right ones :wink:

I'm sure they knew they were stating the obvious but it needs stating as that's the reason some people (like myself) voted cold. I think 100 quid spent on pops you didn't actually pick out as ones you really wanted and won't have any real resell value is not good. Given that these are made up of the ones that won't sell individually even at reduced prices the probability of someone seeing the full list of 36 and finding 10+ they actually want is really low.

The named ones are probably 5+ most places, does state no duplicates too, makes them 2.78 each at this price, hardly going to lose money imo, never seen pops as cheap as that ever, still it's 100 quid to lay out on pop figures
