Can't imagine there will be too many takers. I've seen Greg's customers. They don't eat salad.

Congrats. Not many IQ points needed to come up with that. Thrift in brain use. Delightful

I think you mean brain cells, not IQ points. You wouldn't use part of a score to "come up with" an observation.

Nope I meant points. It is measured in points. Or was. In a time where theres a "professor" in an American college calling for Trumps assassination whose "Professorship" is on "Life of Beyonce" - any stupidity could have replaced IQ points/score

Lol. So Greggs is and has been climbing up on the lunch market massively with it's fresh sandwiches and salads, so much that it has won sandwich retailer of the year. If you think it's all about greasy sausage rolls and only the low life goes in for tea - frankly you need to get out more. Or get in one and see for yourself

I remember when Greggs started getting aggressive and expanding in the late 70s. Took over a similar (and better) bakers called Carricks. in the 80s - never looked back. Carricks were doing just as well as Greggs then too. Couple of bad managerial decisions that didn't go for Carricks went for Greggs - otherwise you'd have two huge bakers from Newcastle up and down the country

Could win the award for lowest uptake of any freebie ever. Might as well give away free dog poop
Greggs salad is neither filling nor does it taste any good.

So the customers who have bought the most sausage rolls, pies and pastries will get a nice green salad? I bet the take up rate is no more than about 10%

As a true Glaswegian salad-dodger I will politely decline this deal.
(Actually, I do eat salad during my miserable 500-calorie days but as Glaswegians seem to hate salad, I buy them from the bargain bin :p)
