Why are freebies no longer being kept to just the Freebie section? Either keep them there or merge the two sections.

Pet care workshop from pets at home? They should take their own workshops!

Please consider getting pets from your local rescue centre rather than a commercial pet store like this. There are animals needing homes at the RSPCA, Blue Cross and other local charities so please look there first.
Pets at Home have been critisised for animal welfare in the past, including on BBC Watchdog.

And after that nice sandwich with HAM and CHEESE and MILK. Teach the children to love all animals and not cause suffering to others....

And exactly what animal suffering is caused by cheese and milk? You do realise some cows NEED to be milked, yes? Otherwise they can get an infection and die?

You do realise that most dairy cows only produce milk because they've been artificially insemenated and then had their calf taken away from them within 12 hours of giving birth. That's not good for either the mother or the calf.

From my experience Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Mice, Gerbils are great pets for children. I would say from my experience Rabbits are not good pets, they can be difficult to handle for children and they need a lot of space. They are social animals and really quite clever! I'm still looking after my kids two Rabbits long after they left home to further education, one is 12 and the other 13. The smaller pets all lasted a max of 5 years.
