I'd recommend going and get your group to buy a bulk. Say if there's 4x of your then buy 1000-1500 or however many and divide them (they will usually be in bags of 100s) and this will usually work out slightly cheaper.

Paintballing is good fun but it's a massive rip off. Different company to this, but same outcome I'm guessing. Was in a party of 12 or so. Before we even got in, they were trying to sell us the "BEST VALUE" pack at £80 a go. Before our first game they tried to sell us private games, where it'd just be us 12 doing what we want instead of the planned day, at £300. The "hot lunch" was a pot noodle, with the option to pay another fiver to "upgrade" to a pizza. I managed to escape with the total cost for the day being £40, that was for 600 paintballs, gloves (which I didn't want to get, but after getting shot in the hand a few times would recommend) and some grenades which were useless. I think £40 is decent for a good day out, but make sure you bring your own food, cash not card, and be prepared to say no a lot. also you can't bring your own paintballs, due to "health and safety" reasons, each day will have a different shell colour and paint colour. So yeah, the deal is decent but it'll be absolute minimum £30 each when you get there.

My son goes to paintball aften, just to give you an idea there are 8 -10 games most people use min of 50 paint balls per game dependant on how fast you use them, but fire rate is fast. My son spends about £70 on paint balls over 2 days but he is nuts.

Still waiting for my replacement sims to reactivate the app after the upgrade. Anyone had a new free sim from O2 recently - how long did it take to come?

Can you bring your own paintballs? E.g. buy them online and bring them?
Or do they forbid or stop you from doing that? Guess you could sneak some in your backpack in a container?
All start with 100 paintballs and bring your own to refill in the field..

You can't bring your own, they have to be bought at the site and are coloured appropriately so they can see if you have (you may get lucky but they rotate the colours)! Great day out but as said previously often your get 'free paintball with 100 free paintballs' but you end up spending around £50 minimum on paintballs, still a good day out but just be aware

While fun, the money is in the paint balls. If you see people promoting paintball events in a local shopping centre it's this sort of deal - pretty much free hire of the guns, overalls and goggles, with most of the money made on the paint balls. If they offer you automatic weapons instead of single shot, it's just a way to get through those paint balls faster.
Think is was £5 per 100 when I last went but comments above suggest that has gone up. Definitely worth asking on the day if they sell by the 1000 if you go as a group to get a slight reduction.

100 FREE paintballs for one person only. 4 other friends of the recipient will need to pay £8 at the time of booking to confirm this offer.
£8 x 4 = £32 divide this by 5 players, which makes it £6.40 for the first game with 100 paintballs.
They're expecting people to use more than 100 paintballs at £8 a pop - quite pricey!

I'd put a comment on that I didn't fancy flinging myself around in a muddy field, can't see that now(?). Lots of varied stuff on o2 this morning. I was out yesterday and just fancied an ice cream, none available, and its just refreshed today. Who wants ice cream mon morning?? A sunny Sunday afternoon is when i wanted mine, lol. I don't fancy paintballing tbh , thought others might

Paintballs cost about £1.25 per 100 to buy and they would get them even cheaper. One big rip off, with cr*p lunch.

It's £7.00 per 100 paintballs, which is fairly standard. Still a good offer though, thanks OP

"100 Free paintballs (for the recipient only)"
As usual, this is how they will make their money. No paintballs for anyone included apart from 100 to the recipient only when you need 500-1000 each, and it doesn't tell you how much they will charge on the day.

Nice freebie. It is worth noting that you get the first 100 paintballs free and it's £8.00 per 100 thereafter. And you'll be burning through them as they fire like a machine gun. So either fire conservatively or be prepared to spend more than you thought at first glance.
