‘Free’ Nando’s chicken with £6ish spend By buying a £1 bottle of Nando’s Peri-Peri sauce in the supermarket, you get a free £3.95 quarter chicken breast or £3.60 starter when you spend £5 in Nando’s until Thu 31 Aug.
It’s not the biggest discount I’ve ever told you about but it’s pretty good for Nando’s as essentially you get £9 worth of grub and a drink for £6ish, plus some sauce for your cupboard. And I’d bet my spring chicken that most people will want a side and drink with their quarter chicken, which will hit the £5 min spend, so this is a spicy freebie.
Also, a reminder of the student deal for today: On Thursday 17 August, Nando’s will be offering students the chance to pick up a free 1/4 chicken or Firestarter, in hopes of giving all students some form of reward for their results.
It’s pretty simple really – all you’ll need to do is show up at your local chicken restaurant with your results papers and ID to walk away with your chicken reward.
Sadly, however, like most things that sound far too good to be true, there is a catch.
Though the chicken is technically free, you’ll need to spend a minimum of £7 before you’re eligible for it.
Got one 1/4 chicken after spending £1 on marinade. Went to shops again, all changed, now you have to spend £2 to get the same thing. And it expires the end of this month ..

This was posted already well over a month ago. Chicken is not free and your desciption contradicts the title anyway ("with £6ish spend"..."Though the chicken is technically free, you’ll need to spend a minimum of £7 before you’re eligible for it."

The terminology was taken from the deal itself - the promotion states 'Free ¼ chicken' . If it makes you feel better I can change the title to suit your opinion. How about 'complimentary' or 'inclusive'?
Typically though I notice that you haven't actually ever posted a deal yourself!

Lol, I see you critised me yet not the person 2 spots above me..just because I have posted no deal myself? All I said is it wasn't free, even the MSE descirption begins with 'Free', not Free, and there is an inconsistency between £6ish and £7.
Get off ya high horse. You don't need to have posted a deal to have an opinion on this site. This is the internet.

I got one in Tesco for £1 but in Sainsburys they were £2 or more. Good promo though.

Cold, the word free shouldn't be in the title or description as it requires spend.

Needs to be one of the promo packs to qualify - they have been available for a while now.
