Refurbished Dyson
Previous feedback suggests these are like brand new and most come with a 2 Year Guarantee
DC40 Animal or the Shark NV680UKT. Anyone experience with these? Both 5 year cover.

If you see the reviews of the Shark, it seems some of them have had the Dyson before, and once gone to Shark, would never go back. I'm looking for a good deal on that Shark model also, although the 800 has just come out.....

Refurbished V6 for £149 arrived this morning. It looks like a brand new machine, works fine, and is spotless inside and out. I'd certainly buy refurb from Dyson again in future.

A few of the new models have sold out but 13 of the listed OP items are still in stock.
I would go for the Dyson DC50 for sub £110.

Just bought a DC42 a few weeks ago and blown away by how good they are. A bit heavy but the performance is exceptional. Love it!

I'm pretty sure that model doesn't exist?!

Dyson's premium hasn't reduced in line with how the competition has caught on. I don't regret buying my Dyson some 10 years ago, but I wouldn't buy another now.

A dyson vacuum cleaner consists of a motor, the wiring to it from a switch and then the wire to the plug surrounded by some fancy plastic, sooooo buying a refurb shouldn't make any difference when compared to new.

I've got the older DC33, they are pretty powerful and for 149 with 5 yrs warranty isn't bad going. Our one is 4 years old and has had its rubber pipe replaced twice under warranty and I'm calling them again today as there is a leak again. Errrrr... 5 yrs warranty is needed on these, 2 yr warranty for a Dyson isnt enough in my opinion.

Used to love Dyson had one since the DC01 launched and probably influnced at least another half a dozen friends to buy one. The 3rd one we had was a DC33 was so bad we've switched just a week ago to a Shark upright and it beats the Dyson in every department. Won't ever be buying another Dyson

Does anyone know how long the pole is from the handle to the floor on the cylindrical models? I'm a little concerned they'd be too short for me (6ft 2) and could strain my back?

I've got a refurb DC07 I picked up a few years back
Are any of these discounted ones as easy to service/user repair or have they got more complicated and fiddly with the newer they've got?

Actually got a DC50 in bits at the moment , brush head motors go on these models , may have been resolved on later models but on the earlier ones Dyson were having to change out loads of burnt out motors under warranty in less than 12 months
Main motor unaffected , proper washable Filter on these

Wish they had a good deal on a V8 Absolut :disappointed:

Best v8 deal that I have seen is the one which included the free Dyson fan - if you were comfortable reselling the fan you got it for around £200, waiting to see if they run this again.
