Order is in, thanks for this.
Was looking at the DJI Phantom 3 which I was getting for around £450'ish/£500 but then this deal was a no brainer.
p.s. delivery charge is £11.50 which you may want to add to the title

did it arrive on time? how is it, have you encountered any problems with the drone itself or does it work flawlessly? Lastly, does it come with official controller and everything?

Could be fun if you have the money to waste though. Just need to get the better half to agree

Lol very true, just finished lunch and checking deals and all I got from my good lady wife is "I don't care if it's 50p why do we need a droid" and that's not a spelling autocorrect haha.
Think she's missing the point, we don't need one but I still want one :sunglasses:

Reasonable price, but when factoring in postage and only 3 month warranty may be worth buying new from china for a similar price.

Are good for smuggling mobile phones and other stuff into her majesty prisons . Why else would you spend so much on a toy . They should be banned these will be the new weapon of choice soon instead suicide belts .

Why i dont read the daily mail but i know they are the new prison smugglers friend . And could be used as a improvised weapon as military have been using large drones for years .

Just because it could be used as a weapon doesn't mean it should be banned.
Kitchen knives. Garden cutting equipment (mowers, shears, hedge trimmers etc) Motor vehicles. Radio controlled planes. Bleach.
Could all be weapons if in the wrong hands....

Good price but the usefullness is seriously limited. Drones are banned in areas of natural beauty, near various monuments etc, basically during my travels this summer, everywhere I had though that the drone might be worth it, it it was illegal to fly one there...

Where does it say you can't fly drones in AONB? I'm genuinely curious as I've never heard such a restriction unless imposed recently. The drone rules really need to be made clear and concise but not prohibitively strict that you can't fly anywhere.

Some of the best things in life are things that someone will tell you you shouldn't do. Plus you're innocent until convicted in a court of law. So just don't get caught.

Not so sure this is a great deal if the warranty isn't long, and factoring in that you can purchase the fly more combo with extra batteries, bag, chargers, props etc for between £900-£1000 from various online stores that are brand new. You'll want the extra batteries for sure. I appreciate they are supplied from china but many cover any potential customs duties
Iamthemills to glennhoward007

Where have you seen the fly more combo for less than £1000??? From a genuine EU seller.
glennhoward007 to Iamthemills
26 Aug 17#18
Didn't say genuine eu sellers.....they are Chinese or HK based but some have uk bases too that they work out of. The warranty only applies to the country where it is purchased from, but if you buy DJi care refresh (like many do) then this adds additional warranty for the first 12 months and applies to the country in which you purchased it.

Can't use in Scotland in lots of places including Loch Lomond without license and permission
