I never got around to playing the beta so i'm unsure whether or not to get this. I enjoyed the first one for a good few months.
If I wait a few weeks till after launch will I still get all the pre-order/day one crap? And is this a good price? If it's popular I doubt it will come down in price for quite a while. Oh damn it! should I get it now. Decisions, decisions.

online only games tend to better when more people are on and content is fresh - so uptaking early isn't the worst idea - i think the bonuses go if you dont pre-order, but you can earn them in game from december i believe
it's a decent enough price, not unbelievable - but probably won't get much cheaper for a pre-order at this stage
i've personally gone for a digital copy for convenience this time around

I've put over 2,000 hours into the original game, met some great people (in real life and online) and probably spent in the region of £100 in total. Decent value for me.
Each to their own though.

nice to see some heat for a game over £40 - it shows that despite there being a lot of people not liking the series, there are also a good amount of people interested or hyped for the game
it's noticeable that previous other deals for the same price or cheaper got a lot of cold votes - now that we're nearing release people are starting to realize that if they want to play it day 1 they'll have to pay about £40

Really don't understand how this is a deal at this price, especially when they will nickle and dime everyone with another 4 expansions :joy: :joy: :joy:

I am going to fire through it asap and trade it in
I Might get the "collection" with all the dlc in a year or two depending on the content.

It's not exactly a deal. Just the cheaper than you can find it anywhere else. Posted it on this site to save people the search. Apologies for trying to help out :unamused:

That's exactly why it is a deal, thanks for the post. Demtendo64 is just a troll.

Hardly a troll, it's called having a different opinion. £40 should be the base price for a game and just because people are stupid enough to pay more with retailers knowing it, does not mean anything less than the ridiculous price set constitutes a deal. Also this isn't even taking into consideration their track record which shows the game will be repackaged again and again with each consequent expansion for the same price.

Where can I get it cheaper?

gameseek seem to have deals for this every day at £30. edit: I've not used them before though so I'm not sure how reliable they are.

Nice find!
I was going to order this but it says delivery on or before the 9th of sept for me....

Yeah. Once you order it says to expect delivery from 5th to 9th Sept. I think they're just covering themselves in case of delays in post. I've always received orders on the release date from Tesco

Ah I see thanks for replying I might risk it then since I have £1.50 on my clubcard I did not know about.
I just chalked it up to being in the highlands but most companies have no problem getting my order to me the next day.
EDIT: Damn you tesco
Amazon with the code and prime makes it £42 so I will cancel my tesco one and re-order from them.
Was worth a shot

You're lucky because all my Tesco orders arrives late for a Tuesday/Wednesday released game. It's funny really because they always delivered the Friday releases on time. But you're right they are covering themselves with the delivery date because I've had an email saying the same thing for Uncharted and it arrived two days late.
