Is this thing any good, I remember watching one of the previous ones and it just looked like dynasty warriors in a shopping centre

Heheh. That's not a bad comparison, actually. The Dead Rising games are pretty fun. Definitely worth a punt at this price.

Does code BANKHOLIDAY work for anyone? I got it in an email from them yesterday but it doesn't seem to work for me.

If you have a Gold membership and in no rush, I'd wait, be surprised if its not free in the next few months

Don't think so, it was just added to Xbox Game Pass last month. Highly doubt they would give away a game from their Game Pass subscription service.
I've been playing this game on PC recently and it's a lot of fun. It's set in a post apocalyptic city infested with zombies, full of wacky ways to kill massive hordes of zombies and the combat is very satisfying. For the price of £12.80 I think it's worth buying

Got this recently, word of warning the game runs at 720p it looks horrible and the fps is poor too, its just like playing a last gen game i couldn't finish it because i thought the graphics look so bad. I'd recommend going for Dead Rising 4 instead that runs at 1080p better graphics and better fps. I got Dead Rising 4 for £18 from CEX so only a bit more than this.
